Pretty sure we lost the RPG Maker master file that was used to create this game so I don't think any updates could even conceivably be made to this game without redoing the entire thing from scratch. We definitely were a little skimpy on context in some areas.

Crazy seeing footage of this after 20+ years. My older brother had one of the copies they used to give out at Underworld in like 2002-03 and I have fond memories of watching him play it over his shoulder. I'll have to give it another playthrough sometime

I will never stop being so impressed by the retro engine, there are videos that show the retroengine and the og classic sonic games side by side and they look identical, there are just some minor minor differences in physics and hitboxes and that's it really.

I use a cinemachine camera and it doesn't have any programming in it only the built-in things and the player movement is in the update method my movement is like this: Vector3 movement = new Vector3(Input.GetAxis("Horizontal"), 0f; transform.position += movement * speed * Time.deltatime. I feel like it's shaky on specific objects I added a swimming mechanic which was easy I just made it move horizontally and vertically in water so the shaking only happens underwater I know it doesn't feel like swimming but it's ok so please help me fix this
