I've been looking for a video, I think you had previously posted it, maybe under the title of something like Byzantine Chant 3 and the hymn may have been something along the lines of "Praise the Lord from ages to ages" and I've been looking everywhere for it. Any ideas?

Thank you so much for this beautiful video. My friend Fr. Eusebius Stephano's funeral is today and I could not attend. I made myself a little altar with icon of Jesus pulling souls from the grave with a small candle. It was comforting to me and I remember my Greek Orthodox grandmother also and the Church she loved. JESUS IS ALIVE AND SAVES ALL WHO COME TO HIM. HE GIVES US ETERNAL LIFE. I just had an experience with God. Amen!

I did not say that the Orthodox Church is fallible, just that those who belong to it are not infallible. All people are born into sin, and the fact of being Orthodox does not repeal that. I say the wrong things sometimes, and I am Orthodox. So therefore, you cannot say that all Orthodox people do not say wrong things. You are confusing the individual with the body of the Church.

Just because you are Orthodox does not mean that you are infallible.

I am no longer religious but I can not deny the power of byzantine (or to the anal eastern roman) chanting. Keep the uploads coming. Maybe one day I'll go back to church haha.

@SmartSeer Our Lord was quite clear in the messages at Soufanieh: "he who has divided it has sinned; he who has rejoiced in its division has sinned." And also He said, "May they all be one, that the world may believe." The world will not believe until all Christians are united in one Catholic and Orthodox faith.

@SmartSeer Sir, this verse is a prophecy about the Muslims, who say that Muhammad recieved the Quran from an angel. I would never apply it to Orthodox Christians. I would prefer that any man be a Protestant before he be an unbeliever, and an Orthodox Christian before he be a Protestant.
@3abdulmesii713 жыл бұрын
@SmartSeer We need to work TOGETHER against the heresies of the modern world. The heresy of Communism makes the crusades look like a bad case of the hiccups. Any of the other heresies could be dangerous by themselves. To combat them we need to be ONE, that the world may believe. And we cannot do that if, like Muslims, we dwell in the past, fighting each other rather than what really needs to be fought.
@3abdulmesii713 жыл бұрын
@SmartSeer The woman who recieved the messages was a Catholic, though. None of the messages indicated that she, or any Catholic, ought to become Orthodox, nor did they indicate that any Orthodox ought to become Catholic. It indicated that we ought to work for unity, because our Lord said: " may they all be one."
@3abdulmesii713 жыл бұрын
@SmartSeer Sir, I think that you need to look up the miracles at Soufanieh, whose validity is attested by both Catholic and Orthodox bishops.

This is an excellent video. Where do you get all of your music? Pray that all Christians may be united in one Catholic and Orthodox Faith through the intercession of Our Lady of Soufanieh. -A Catholic
