Now if someone has footage from the night that woman streaked from the back of all the stock cars parked in front of the crowd in between them and jumped in a tow-truck around 1975, I'd want to see THAT as my grandpa refused to tell me what was going on and I only saw a flash of butt as she jumped in the truck with everyone roaring. I was SO MAD I got cheated out of everyone else's spectacle.

They are just to fast today to race like that. Maybe we need to think about it. That was great racing. Today we play follow the leader.

Open trailers, no 40' long semi-truck hauling a 12' sprinter. No children drivers. Large car counts. 30 cents a gallon gas. Inexpensive fast food (serving good food) Drivers you could actually see driving. Indy drivers throughout the field. Offy still winning races. All in all, just so much cooler than today.

Sorry, but Kenny Brightbill had a leaning seat back in 1970. I'm sure someone had thought of it before then.

One of the major mistakes, one of the announcers made was saying that, drafting isn’t a thing there. 😶 … 🤭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 oh quite contrary monsignor. Drafting is very much a thing there! Well, at least it was at one point in time😢

I still miss this place so much. the end of the racing season has lost its charm without Syracuse. Oswego feels like 'just another show' in comparison to what the real Super DIRT Week was.

I'm hoping someday someone finds some of these Labor Day events from the 80's and early 90's to upload. Also there were a few years when the Syracuse races aired on local WSYR News Channel 9 (The ABC affiliate in Syracuse) I haven't seen any of those races uploaded... Those would be great to find somehow.
