I shoot all kinds of bows including compound bows, traditional bows, and crossbows. Something I have learned from shooting recurve crossbows with traditional broadheads and aluminum arrows that have no stiff or weak side shaft orientation, is that no traditional broadhead shoots exactly the same from one arrow to the next. I put together three arrow systems with the exact same broadhead, shaft, feather fletching, lighted nock, and all broadheads clocked in the same orientation, and see which two of the three arrows group the closest to each other. Select one of those two arrows as my "number one arrow" and sight the crossbow in for that arrow. It will be the first arrow I shoot at deer. Regarding traditional equipment, this experience with crossbows showed me that if the precision and consistent arrow launch of a crossbow cannot get traditional broadheads to group exactly in the same spot, there is no way a traditional archer shooting fingers, is going to get them to group in the same spot. The goal is to pick the arrows that group closer to each other and make sure there are no inconsistent arrow set ups in your quiver.

Most people hunting is not target shooting...i eve seen the best target shooters be the worst hunting shooters.. adrenaline of a kill is nothing like a target 🎯 shot...and knowledge of the woods is much earned.. i like to demean my self as a better challenge... hunting is not target shooting...form can go right out the window

Allot of people go 15 foot up to even 20 foot up a tree to try to control sent and visual ..i always hunt 10 to 12 foot max do to angle of shot being tuffer higher you go. 8 foot works long as good cover😊. You wonder y many people screw up out of a tree stand at 10 yards 😊
@unknown-archer6 күн бұрын
Out of a tree stand its okay to be a little sloppy at 25 yards but at 10 yards the angle is pretty crucial so you need to be a tac driver from a stand 15 down if 12 foot up😊
