This is half the story (fuel) there are also quite a few 'spark' (electrical) possibilities also (switchbox, stator, trigger, etc.)...if it cranks, but will not fire.

My 2004 Eiger 400 just had a starting problem - turned the key - weird sound -did not sound like a starter problem - made a real noisy buzzing sound - don't know if it's the starter or solenoid ?? Any ideas ?

# 14- Starter relay is bad (usually located near fuses. Sometimes the cover can be removed and contacts cleaned up with sandpaper) , #15- ignition fuse is blown.
