How much bigger do you think this lens would have been if the min focusing distance match the Fuji or TTArtisan, which ever has the closets min.

@FujiFanBoysАй бұрын
Like what I mention, If you are looking at a budget lens, TTartisan is the winner. For me the Viltrox is choice between the 2 lenses because its sharper.
@yixuanli9356Ай бұрын
@@FujiFanBoys My question is it worth 30 bucks for the extra sharpness or the sharpness, is it really noticeable the superior sharpness ? thank you

@@yixuanli9356 of course. To me optical quality is key in photography
@murrayisarobotАй бұрын
@@yixuanli9356 hey I'm also in China and I went with the Viltrox. For that extra $30 you get more sharpness, less vignetting, better control over flaring/ghosting and a little bit wider aperture. The only real benefit the TTartisan has is the metal body over the plastic.

Thanks for the quick video comparison! I’d also be curious to watch a sharpness comparison between the 56 f1.7 viltrox vs the XF 50 f2 on a 40mp camera. The 50 f2 was considered the sharpest out of the smaller trinity of f2 fujicrons on the 26mp cameras, but now I’m curious how it translates to the 40mp compared to the viltrox ones
@olafkliemt1145Ай бұрын
but who needs sharp corners goes for the Viltrox ;-)
@murrayisarobotАй бұрын
Interesting! I actually just opted to buy the Viltrox over the XF version to save some money on a nifty fifty. From my test shots I did already feel like it was sharper than my other Fuji lens (XF23mmF2), this comparison proves it. This has got to be a new standard for 3rd party primes!

Between the two lenses, I had to go with TTArtisan. It’s $125 compared to $179, and it’s so much smaller-it barely takes up any space in my bag. Plus, the all-metal build is a massive upgrade from the typical plasticky stuff you get at this price.
@brownwallet942Ай бұрын
