What do you think might be the cause and my vehicle is 2015

Really hard to tell without more diagnostic checking. Although replacing them 2 solenoid valves (They are colour coded so you must install them properly) solved my stalling problem, it was not associated with hard starting problem. I did have an issue since, with engine miss-firing on a cold startup. This was solved by replacing all the spark plugs. However this time I had it done by a dealer. These engines have been known to develop an issue with a plugged pvc orfice. Also older engine have been known to have timing chain issues which could be your problem. I would advise having a dealer check it out as I have limited DIY experience.

I have a question. So I found this 2011 Chevy equinox on offer up today. I went with a friend and the car cranks but won’t start. The owner said they changed the battery and it worked at first but than it did the same thing. Fuses looked good, fuel pump was working. Idk what it could be. The car underneath was rusty, I think this car was once up north in NY maybe. You think I can fix this car by doing what you did here ? Also hooked up to the OBD and found no engine or transmission codes
@TROTakingitEasy2 ай бұрын
Doesn't sound like them sensors would be the problem. For me the car would still start, but stall when I started driving. If them sensors are faulty it should give you codes. Really hard to tell. Other possible issues include bad spark plugs, computer or ignition coil problems.

Little Bow, been going there a long time but not as often now. Back in the day there were all of 12 I serviced spots backing onto the lake by the old store ( near the site of the newer one). Sites were $3.50/ night and fishing was awesome. Then they built unserviced loop A and you could still have your boat relatively close. Now getting near the launch can be a real chore in high season. Used to be a nice cozy place but it’s a busy spot now. At those prices not sure why they additionally soak a fella another $6 to dump but that’s the way it goes.

I should have taken more photos and video, however this was when I was just getting started on KZbin. We do hope to go get back there some time in the future.

It's an oldy but a moldy. Some molds are deadly. Light kills most mold. Some fungus do grow differently in sunlight. Depending on the type, it could also be a major health problem. This is common among old motor homes. If you have bleeding gums and / or challenging lung compacity, brain foge. Low energy. Then you could be living in a toxic investment because you didn't wear the proper hazardous material protection .
@TROTakingitEasy6 ай бұрын
It was mostly dry rot, no visible mold, maybe killed by our freezing cold winters. It was damage hidden under linoleum before we got it 5 years ago. The roof appeared to be replaced with a metal roof sometime before we got it. Everything works in this fairly solid class C.

strangely i had the same code, i replaced the intake and the exhaust sensor because I figured why not while I was already there. The light went off for about a week then came back on for maybe a day and then went off again and so far has been off but I am still having the stalling issues from time to time. Mostly when your stopped at a red light or even happened to my daughter when she was in a drive-though. Other causes could be dirty or low engine oil, already did an oil change and it happened again after that. Reading up on this issue the next step or problem could be fuel related but I would think the car would run bad and it would stall more often. This happens maybe 1-2x a month. Not sure what else to do besides maybe swapping the sensor again. Maybe I got a defective one. I went with the AC Delco brand and currently I am at a loss. This is happening to a 2013 Buick with the same 2.4 eco-tech motor. You have any suggestions on what else i can do? I also checked and cleaned the air filter because they say that could cause this issue too..

I have owned this vehicle for over 7 years and although not an expert, have learned about a few problems with this vehicle when it ages. Especially a possible clogged pcv valve or orifice which may cause excessive pressure in the crankcase which may blow out the rear seal. Some complain that the timing chain may need replacing. It is my understanding regular oil changes will help. The fix I shared here did fix my problem and it never came on again. I had stalling problems that required new spark plugs. I only use synthetic oil in mine.
@mike_02137 ай бұрын
@@TROTakingitEasy You think maybe new plugs could help the stalling issue? It does not happen all the time but anything more then 2x is enough when your sitting in traffic and the car stalls out.
@TROTakingitEasy7 ай бұрын
@@mike_0213 I replaced mine because it was running real rough. Don't no if that will help your issue, but if you've never replaced them it wouldn't hurt. The map sensor can also cause issues when the engine is cold.
@mike_02137 ай бұрын
@@TROTakingitEasy Okay, the plugs are easier then the PCV valve right? That is under the intake manifold right?
@TROTakingitEasy7 ай бұрын
@@mike_0213 Correct, but I am not a expert and would definitely get a professional to tackle the pcv valve issues. Spark plugs most people can do themselves.

I just came across your vidoes, I will look at them all soon. I have been to most the places you have, but not Mirror, yes we stayed a Krydor Sask too, We live in the West Kootenays of BC and like to travel in the Pairires in the summer as all the Albertans are in BC . We have a daughter and husband in Moosejaw in the airforce so we go there often. Some great places to stay in sourthen Sask. many small towns have campgrounds and some are free or by donation, Cadillac Sask comes to mind. On mileage, we have a 2012 Lexington 26 ft B+ ( no bulbous front) and in Alberta/Sask/Manitoba we get 15 mph. in BC we get about the same, as what goes up must come down. We lke to make loop trips , say southern Sask one year , Northern next and so on. It is fun times. Every year we include new places to see and stay at. We prefer small towns to camp at. Been to Teryell musieum twice and the digs at Patricia twice. First time you could walk all over and even see bones sticking out in many places. Now you have to take the tour $$$. There is a guy from Regina who photographs all the ghost towns in Sask , very good videos. Chris Atrell I believe is his channel. Look him up , gives you many ideas of where to go on your journey. Good Luck safe driving.

The 7.5 ltr (460cc) has lots of power, however loves fuel. In our travels in 2023 we were getting around 8 miles per imp. gallon or in Canadian dollars $0.75c per mile (LOL). For a 1988 it is in pretty good shape, has 95,000 km (59,000 miles) and doesn't use any oil.
