In reality, nobody owns the rights to the cross symbol. It does not belong to any church or religious organisation. Remember this. Just because one wears a cross does not mean they are christian or belong to any religious denomination. The cross has been around since before this civilization.

The liturgy is similar. If you look at the Greek Orthodox and greek Catholic masses, you see they are exactly the same. Even Roman Catholic is similar and same parts. Tradion is the same. Ordaining priests and bishops by laying hands in both churches since the apostles.

I am a former Roman catholic went to the sspx traditional Latin Mass but I am now Eastern Orthodox. I hate to say it but I found even the traditional Latin Mass more like an empty shell. But with the Divine Liturgy I see life and abundant graces

😮Orthodoxy embraces matriarchy, and it also works on the words "lift a stone and you will find me". Technically should teach you to have a level of discernment, teaches you Jesus did not die for all sinners, and after it teaches you the right from wrong, it sets you free, free is not really the word I am looking for, because orthodoxy does not enslave you. Again, people chose to go, aren't forced to go. In Eastern orthodoxy we have some saint days which are some good customs picked from pagans, that teaches you how to behave in a community towards elders and youngsters, because technically after an age you are "set free". And in orthodoxy Jesus is not God and God is not Jesus. Jesus is the son of God, God is the father. In orthodoxy, enslavement is a big crime. Hence why I don't feel guilty through spiritual abuse some priests/pastors/raby do because I don't go frequently to the church, nor you are forced to read the bible. If the priests don't have the calling and see this as a business, as Catholics do, it turns into spiritual abuse. It does show many never had the calling. Orthodoxy also practices medicine... Yes, orthodoxy has priestess. There are some rituals where it teaches you grow wheat, it basically teaches you how to grow your own bread.

These days I am returning (never left completely but almost) to Christianity.....I wil go to a church but often. The Orthodox attracs me. I do not know why. I was raised protestand, and feel like a traitor if I go to a Catholic church. Maybe that is why....I am so sad that the church is so devided. Because of little diferences.....that is why the evil can grow. Unite.....for Gods sake!
