Great video. Could you provide an update? I'm wondering how the Deep Sleep works with a fridge slide? Also, would you have the diemensions once it's rolled up? I have a Jeep 392 with a URSA Minor and 100% rear seat delete from Goose Gear and a fridge (behind the driver's side). I'm interested in buying the Deep Sleep for the days I can't use the URSA Minor due to weather conditions.

AEV needs to put a lockable cap to prevent bad folks from tampering or stealing your fuel. This product is on the market for over a decade and AEV still not making any security improvements.

We have used the kzbin.infoUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y for probably 30 hours with our camper and it’s been great! The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!

Maybe add annotations to your video in the part where you're assembling it wrong so everyone at home doesn't get to have the same fun you did.

Thanks for the video! I too have the AEV fuel caddy and am hoping you can indulge me by answering my question. How much does your fuel caddy leak through the gas cap when taking it off road? Mine leaks terribly, there is fuel everywhere, even when I stop filling it 6 inches from the top. AEV tells me it's designed to leak a little and advised me not to overfill it. I am very careful not to. What's your experience?

Definitely recommend the newer 500X. Has regulated 12V port. You could get an adapter for the 400 to make it regulated too

In your honest opinion, do you think it is possible to only install the 60 seat delete plate, and not use the rear plate? My cargo area is already built, but Goose gear told me the 60 plate would not work without the rear plate. I've seen another video that looks like you could install just the delete plates and it would work just fine. Thoughts on this? Awesome video, very helpful!

It wasn’t clear to me if you need the trench cover piece as well to comfortably use this mattress? Also, I see you uploaded this 2 years ago, did it hold up well?
@farawayporch Жыл бұрын
Great video. I use the same type of mattress. The best way to maintain the shape is by keeping it inflated all the time (somewhere under your bed at home). Just roll it before a camping trip and once back home keep it inflated again.

You have just proved my original hypotheses that running an electric ice chest and solar is not only more expensive but less efficient that using my RTIC 110 qt roto molded cooler with 30 pounds of ice. OFF grid in the AUGUST heat of South Carolina with outside temps over 85 degrees I get 4 days easy on my FOOD cooler and 48 hours on my smaller drink 20 qt cooler . There are better ways to have your stuff cool , cold or even frozen in the WOODS. Nice video. I do have a GOAL ZERO 100 that I have had for over 8 years and use it to charge my ipod and boom box type stuff. Running a solar system for an off grid / overland refrigeration doesn't make sense for me unless it's only for 1 day.

Thanks for this video, fellow Hoosier! My Goose Gear with full seat delete is on order, and I can't wait to get it, and put it in! I wonder if you could tell me how deep the front cubby is on the 60% side is? I'm installing a RedArc Manager 30 system, with a Battleborn 100ah lithium battery, and I'd like to put it all under the 60% side, but I'm not sure if the battery - laid on it's side - will fit under that front cubby. It might be too tall, even on its side.

Will this work on the 40% side with the 60% seats still up? I like the extra storage under the seats. Thank you!
