OCD? I think you're using that term a lot and loosely. Just because they pay razor-sharp attention to detail doesn't mean they're OCD. I don't have a scientific or medical understanding of OCD, but super-focused does not equal OCD. OCD and its tendencies are a constant distraction.

Love all these videos, I’m literally training my 8 week old border collie now with her first puppy school for next weekend. I’d love some more pointers as there is a big gap between your first video and this one. Can you do a quick video tutorial and how to train through the steps of sit, leave, look/ focus, drop, come, nose touching your hand ect. I need your help please 🙏 Thanks in advance

I’ve got two Australian cattle dogs and we just got a border collie pup (grew up with family members having both) and oh my god border collies are a lot calmer than cattle dogs, I couldn’t believe it 🤣 he’s got everything in cattle dogs that I love but also doesn’t do what I dislike my cattle dogs doing. We do lots of mental enrichment to keep them calm and tuckered out. Pup will be doing puppy class and then going on to finish the top level of obedience class + we’re gonna do agility with him. I’m also a vet nurse just like your sister 😊

You can feed everything to the doggy, just give me the drywors and biltong. They're probably the most sought after snacks here in South Africa! The stuff the Springboks, the Rugby World Cup champs, devour too.
