I always wonder did Traffic has ever play any Winwood's Faith number and, boy, I couldn't be satisfied more with this Traffic's interpretation of 'Can't Find My Way Home'. Undoubtly a true blessing! Shout out to Chris Wood who hold the rhythm with merely a Flute and much more simple yet efficient drum of Jim Capaldi. And yes, Steve Winwood, who I can't believe, play bass pedal, melody, rhytm and vocal; It just shows how genius and talented Steve is. I can't comprehend how he could control all parts of his body to make a senseful music like that; and I thought only Ginger who could employ all of his limbs to tap every possible drum sounds. All and all Traffic is indeed one of best music act that ever exist! Thank you so much for uploading thiss!

He was other-worldly on flute and great on sax too. Traffic may have been just bland without Chris.

The interview is a little longer. He asks Brian if the Stones are innovators because of the instruments they play.

Harry Harrison was one of the WMCA Good Guys in the 1960's.

Music hit an absolute zenith in the late 1960's. I think much of it was inspired by The Beatles, but drugs played a consciousness-awakening role. Hard to imagine all the stars aligning together like this ever again in our lifetimes.

I get so tired of it ALWAYS being Grace.
@spiritof6663 Жыл бұрын
Considering how strong and magnetic a vocalist she was, it can be argued that Grace was often *underused* by the band. She usually only contributed two or three songs per Airplane album, and those would be the only songs where she sang sole lead vocal! That makes just about a quarter of their material with her on sole lead, and the same was true of their live set. So no, it definitely wasn't "always" Grace. Even with these Levis commercials, there were four different ad spots made and this is the only one of them sung by Grace.

Wow....So jazzy..and soulful ...Chris was so pivotal in Traffic's sound...First time I've listened to this and it's Amazing...I think Traffic could have done more instrumentals. .They were true musicians...Not like most of the Rock talent back in the day
