Make sure you hold jump and press left while still holding jump within 4 frames of getting hit. Holding L helps to make sure you don't accidentally spark when you jump. Practice JUST doing the dboost over and over since that's way easier than doing all of it perfectly together. B is my jump button if you look at the inputs on the top left. Good luck!

Dude, it worked ! Needs high precision in the timings but yeah, holding jump was exactly what I missed ! I'm trying to speedrun with the new route PRKD / PKDR , until now I'm able to do in game 39minutes old route , multi segments

There are multiple time signature changes. 6/8 is in there, too.

I'd suggest starting with a standard delayed 1 tap, so just hold fwd followed by run after a short delay, fwd...run. then try adding more taps of the run button one at a time, so hold fwd..run(tap) run(hold) get better at 2 before 3, etc. One weird thing that I used to do to remember the rhythm of the standard 3 tap was think of the Ceres escape music DUN.. DUN.. DUN-DUN.. (fwd.. run.. run-run). After getting at least a standard 2 tap down I'd move onto stuttering, but this rhythm fwd-fwdRUN-RUN that I talk about in the video is both relatively simple but also VERY picky timing wise. If anything I'd suggest holding run a bit early/longer to start with before your timing is precise, because if you're late at all it wont work, it's better to be early and hold it longer. Draygon's room is good to practice with with the pipes on the ground, you can't get blue in there unless you get SOME sort of short charge. I THINK you CAN get blue with the 1 tap I mentioned in there, but if not definitely the standard 2 tap if it's accurate.

@@MawcDrums after I posted this I finally got it down, I was tapping run button too fast, slowed down and nailed it. Been having consistent shine sparks now, just need to use it against draygon. Thanks for the video!
