6:10 I disagree with this. Adding more content means more hours being put into the game. Something they have been doing a lot with their titles.

I can get that! And I do like some of the side modes, for me though I would rather the focus be fixing the main mode making sure its the best it can be (fixing economy, fix pacing, adding more minigames for main mode, more customization) and then going to the side modes (or at least make some side mode minigames playable in the main mode to add more party mode minigames and making some of the side modes feel like repetitive like Bowser's Kaboom Squad). I think Mario Party 5 nails this, it has an amazing party mode and a lot of really good side modes.

A lot of people I've talked to find this crazy but I weirdly agree with you that 9 is a lot better than 10 now. It's not that high on my rankings but I've grown to appreciate it more than 10.

That's fair, I absolutely see why some people enjoy it and it was a good stepping stone to the newer games but its just not for me

Yeah, I understand why some people don't like it. What I really liked was, wait basically everything except the party mode. It was just super boring. The only time I would play it was when my friends came over because I didn't feel like buying superstars because of the small character roster. But the minigames, rhythm game, and river survivor were all great. But somehow I have 200 hours on it?!?!

I think I would rank it 4th or 5th, I haven't had the chance to play through all of it yet (haven't played the side modes yet) but I really enjoy the maps and the mini-games. I think the economy could use some tweaking as its very easy to save money, the last game I played I got 4 stars stolen from me thanks to Boo which is a tad harsh that that can happen but other than that this is the best Mario Party game NDCube made by a mile!

Is jamboree a good place to start here or would I be better with any other switch titles? They all look like they could be slightly different in ways so just wondering where the best place to start would be

@@1Saynex Jamboree is a good start! the first board is pretty simple and a good introduction for the entire series. It's also a little easier so it won't be the most frustrating and confusing first game you play!

2 and 3 pretty much go back and forth for being the best Mario Party for me. And the worst will probably always be Advanced, since that had no multiplayer at all.

Thanks! If im being honest, I haven't played the handheld versions a lot other than Mario Party DS, which is phenomenal. I didn't feel right ranking games I didn't really know too well and felt weird to only include the DS version but I'd give it a 9/10

We can only talk about the home console Mario Partys, because if we included the handheld consoles, Mario Party DS would always be considered the best of the best and thats not a fair race foe the other Mario Parties

Personally, I loved Mario Party SuperStars. I’ve had so much fun with my friends. The boards are pretty good, some are great (Like the space one), and the minigames are awesome. Plus, I hadn’t played most of those minigames, so they were all new for me

Fyi everybody, the unique dice blocks were not origonally from super mario party, it was actually from the 3ds games. Its just that nobody played the 3ds games so nobody knew
