As long as you have your iPad or music source set to Bluetooth and play it through the Spark via Bluetooth. You can also plug in your device into the Spark to play your backing tracks.

What does turning the limiter knob do to the sound ?
@LUKESTRONG4LIFE
@LUKESTRONG4LIFE 3 күн бұрын
@@stevenburvenich168 Thanks for the post. The limiter knob on this amp catches the loudest peaks of the audio source and applies brick wall compression that prevents it from exceeding the clipping point of 0 dBFS. Limiters are used to increase percieved loudness by increasing the quietest parts of an audio signal while preventing the peaks from clipping. It is almost like a compressor pedal. Hope that helps. Rock on. 🤘

Plugging into the Line-Out WILL mute the speakers. Of course a better design could have been to have an option to be or not to be. Disappointing. Also would be nice if the Power On button was a latch, not where you press it for a couple of seconds to turn it on. Let's say you have one of those fancy Smart Plugs you can turn it on and off with a voice command. Also - the App on the phone stays in portrait mode not in landscape as an option. My guy. No one has a speaker cab elevated like you do. You lose low end. A cab should be on the floor, it's the same as having a Sub hanging on a wall. That's pretty much common knowledge. Regarding the output being cut off when connected to the spark cab. Although the spark cab is an active cab, there are impedance limits regarding the output of the spark 40 V1 or V2. You should do a research first on these, very simple, sound engineering topics.

Thanks for the post. Clearly you did not watch my other video on the bass being way overpowering on these Spark Cabs. Many have posted the same complaint about these. The answer would have been a separate treble, med, and bass controls. Those are not on the Cab. Way too much low end. The contour button makes it worse, unless you are at super low volumes. Being on a stand helps greatly and makes the sound more dynamic and balanced. Not much different from putting an amp on a stand and not the floor. To each his own. Yes, once you plug anything into the headphone jack on the Spark 2, it mutes the speakers. It does send sound to the Cab, but no speakers stay on the Spark 2. Ugh.

I want to see how you incorporate the Ulooper to the spark 2 in order to resolve the mute issue. Reason being, the spark 2 and the spark 40 has different usb configurations.

I ordered the Ulooper for the same reason you did but for some reason, I’ve been unable to get it to work on the spark2 as it did on the 40.

@@bigrigeddie I am not having any luck either. No go. I used a USB-C cable from the Spark 2 to the ULooper (USB-A) and no sound at all. UGH! I am going to contact ULooper and see if they can help.

@@LUKESTRONG4LIFE Most frustrating thing is the new & improved angled speakers being sacrificed. Anybody want to buy a Cab? 😖 I think you’re barking up the right tree by contacting Xsonic because Positive Grid won’t claim any functionality with third parties. I already went down that road to no avail.

ULooper works great on spark40 and spark go. I was not able to get it to work on Spark Mini or the new Spark 2.

that is actually a deal breaker IF the spark head would be paired with the cab (as it should, because that's how amp heads really look : with its partnering cab speakers right?) but if the spark speakers would be bypassed then what point is there to have the head apart from just aesthetics or looks? might as well buy the spark mini then pair it up with the cab should save you a ton of money , as the key selling point of the spark head are the built in speakers. I hope this would all change with the spark 2 recently out., but for now I'm glad I came across the katana mk 2 on sale :)

@@charvlim5159 Hello and thanks for the post. First off, MK2 is a great amp. Enjoy! Yes, sadly the Spark 40 mutes when a cord is plugged into the headphone jack. Word is the same happens with the Spark 2 when you plug a cord into the line out. Once mine arrives I will test it and see. Rock on!🤘
