One of the best organic style walkthroughs I've seen. Great job with the visual experience and the so-often-overlooked audio quality. This video is a couple of years old now - wondering if you still have the 59PX and if so, might consider a follow-up review on how it's done. Would also be very interested in any aspect related to leaving the pets inside and how you ensure their comfort and safety, if so.

@GoThereDoThat yes. So much beauty. It definitely was different from any other state I've been in. I've missed it all these years. But have found a channel where I can see Alaska again, when they post. SO I'm happy about that. Being 63, I couldn't live there now, but am glad to have had the memories of such a place. Yall have a blessed day.

Hi there, great camera work and shots. That melting ice over running water, that was so crisp and cinematic, what camera, lens did you use for the videography and did you use any filters in post or on the camera? This video deserves many more views than it currently has. We're planning to go in late March this year and was looking for the video made during the similar time of the year to have an idea of the sceneries. Thank you very much!!

Hello! We currently use a Sony FX3 and usually keep the 24-105 on it. Since it doesn't have a built in ND we have some variable ND's that we use especially for bright and snowy environments like Alaska. Best of luck to you on your trip this month. It will be beautiful.

Thank you very much for the response, we just got back from our 10 day trip to Alaska and it was magical, specially trip to the arctic circle was little intense but amazing. We were able to catch the brightest northern lights that could be seen so clear with the naked eye spread all over the skies. Videos coming soon!! Cheers@@GoThereDoThat

I’m jealous you are visiting in September! I’ve read that is the best time to visit as things are so green and beautiful but less crowded than summer. If we ever go back, that’s the time of year we will go! Transportation Tip: For Switzerland in general, the Swiss pass for public transportation is very much worth it. You will still need to get tickets for any cable car or funicular rides though. Things to know about Zermatt: There are no regular cars in Zermatt, and you’ll need to ride the train into it. But it’s very easy to get around walking or there are little taxi cars. I would make reservations for restaurants. It gets pretty busy, and it was hard to find a restaurant that would take us without a reservation. Live and learn. Swiss Travel Tip: If I were to re-plan the trip, I would pick maybe 2 cities as my home base and stay there and take the trains or buses on day trips to other cities I want to visit instead of staying at each place. It never felt like we were anywhere long enough and most places are just a couple hours or less train ride away. - Heather

@@GoThereDoThat Thanks for the tip about the restaurants,I will remember that. We are flying into Zurich for one night then a train to St.Moritz for one night. Then Zermatt 2 nights,Montreux one night and Lucerne 2 nights. Doing The Bernina Express,Glacier Express ,Gornegrat,Golden Pass line and Jungfraujoch. Trying to fit in a few places in the eight days seven nights period. Hope your right about September and the weather so we can some good views.👍

@@GoThereDoThat Hi,we had a fantastic time. There was hardly a cloud in the sky all week. In fact it was too warm, even the locals said it was freakish weather for the time of year. We loved everywhere especially Zermatt and Lucerne. I thought Montreux was the prettiest place and next time will make sure we have more than the one night there. We thought it was a little bit expensive but then you should already know that before you go. We loved all the trains but thought the Glacier Express was a bit too long to be honest. Next time we will probably stay in the one town and travel to a few others from there. I think one of your replies mentioned a similar thing and I would agree with you. But it was a holiday we will never forget and can't wait to go again.👍
