@patriciayoung6141 I used to get shouted at or hit with a wooden ruler if I got it wrong. Quite a lot of books have the fingerings printed over the notes. No need to play both hands, just practice where to change the hand position. Failing that, if its going up, start with the thumb. If its coming down, start with the little finger. Re. the video, it was requested that we didn't sing. But we had loads of fun. Can't wait til the next one in October at Stourport. Speak soon, Bryan

@@brygon01 I started solo, then played in bands - both rock and a dance band! Church organist (kind of!) Back to solo and now just for pure pleasure, but I am now practicing like I did as a youngster - hours a day! My late dad got me into Kenny Ball, Chris Barber and Acker Bilk - all stunning musicians who seemed to be linked to one another by Bluetooth way before it was possible! So my musical tastes are eclectic I guess. Some of my fave melodies come from hymns. Deep Harmony is a beauty. I love all types of music depending on my mood. My only wish would be that I could remember more songs - my music room is full of old books, new books - large and small! I have been collecting buskers books etc since the early 80's when I first got paid £15.00 for playing at a pub on the moors outside Rochdale - 1982ish.
