I love the Wilson sisters! They were my first band I loved when I was like 5-6 years old with my first 8-track tape "Dreamboat Annie". Gretchen did Queen Ann serious justice here. Respect for her performance which can't be done by very many mortal women.

A woman about to celebrate her 75th birthday stumbled onto a video of Home Free & wound up spending hours watching more videos - then reached out to ask them to come to her birthday party, especially she wanted them to sing "Love Train". As one of them said "You don't say no to Miss [Diana] Ross". I too love their rendition of this song!

They have another collaboration with the Oak Ridge Boys of "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" that's simply gorgeous and one with Alabama of "Christmas in Dixie". The obvious affection and respect between HF and the Oaks is so touching. They also have collaborations with Kenny Rogers ("Children Go Where I Send Thee"), Lee Greenwood ("God Bless the U.S.A.") & Texas Hill ("Dreamer", "Givin' Up On You") among others.

The original was by Huey Lewis & the News. This so much reminds me of the Buffalo news we used to see back in the 70's (I'm in Canada). They never had fires - only 'sky-scorchers' and weird little things that you wouldn't expect to be news. Of course the singing, harmonies & beatboxing are terrific - exp. Adam's no-monica! Love your channel!

I've always loved Percy Sledge's 1966 original (not so much Michael Bolton's cover - I thought it rather over-wrought). The writer of the song had been through a bad break-up and wrote "I gave you everything I had"; Austin's lady was in the studio (that's who he's looking at) and he sings "I'll give you everything I've got". A subtle but significant difference. Great reaction!

When Austin was a kid he sometimes traveled and sang with his father's gospel quartet in Georgia, so if it feels like he took you to church . . .
