Alisa Xayalith is the singer, she put out new stuff recently....its awesome music! It sucks that this band isnt around anymore as a unit (As far as I know) I would love to have seen them live. They really had a great moment, such talent from all of them.

Came here after watching their Glastonbury 2024 set and remembering that I in fact have seen this incredible band live, and I’m glad footage of when I saw them still exists on KZbin

I actually think this whole Pulp performance at Reading and the reaction they recieved is one of the great live Rock/Pop performances of all time. Jarvis' energy and showmanship is right up there alongside Mercury and Queen at live aid. When you consider his age and how long he had to sustain it for and the stage of his career it's incredible. He was literally hanging from the rafters like Batman at one point.

I listen to this song every time I'm on a plane and it's about to take off. I've become an expert at timing so that the climax kicks in just as the wheels leave the tarmac. Also, Total Life Forever is great music for long flights.
