Finally a movie that I can relate to! I was a Plumbing Associate at Home Depot 25 yrs. ago & my Best Friend at the time owned a Plumbing & Heating Business. I used to pass on some work to him, like Water Heater Installs, hard to find parts (especially on weekends), etc. One day I got called into the Employee Locker Room & the Store Mgr. fired me on the spot & I was walked-out like a Common Criminal. They accussed me of passing on work to my friend, instead of using Home Depot's own installers. I like a lot of Senior Employees there, knew a Lot more about the Trades, than someone who had just worked his way in Retail to the Store Mgr. Position! 🤔

Very good movie

I was almost convinced, I wouldn't watch all of this. A layered story, on two levels can be tiresome to follow. Yet through strong characters, these delicate flowers, can bloom under artificial lighting.

24:30 "fulfilling job"? The purpose of work is to be able to afford a family and live a good life, that should be doable on one income, because men can never escape slavery but if it is doable on one income the wife can focus on the kids and household to help the family flourish. Why should both parents have to work and have to put the kids in day care and so on?

Loved this movie - an interestingly ridiculous plot made enjoyable by believable characters, & good casting, & actors who worked well together,

I enjoyed the movie. One push back. God (sometimes) "allows" things to happen that ends in death of a close friend or love one, because of sinful sensless acts, but to say "God chose that it was Gracie's time, His plan that her mission on earth was complete", I don't think was worded correctly. Sin IS ramped in the world and innocent lives are caught in the crossfire. God is the giver and sustainer of Life. Because of sin He receives the innocent souls of children who are taken away from us prematurely. Lastly, at her age in the movie, what mission did she complete?. People can be decieved about the Truth of God's Love if it's not stated correctly or rightly divided according to His Word.

Oh this is a wonderful movie. The scene at the end when Evan's brother tells Trish how he suffered after his wife died, it's so sad. I love how he stands up for his brother
