This interview was a breath of fresh air. As I listened to this interview on my ear buds (without looking at the screen) I can’t help but notice the uncanny resemblance his voice has to the Georgia attorney Doug Weinstein. 🫶🏽💕🫶🏽💕

I've heard this presentation before and thought it was fantastic, but the audio quality is really poor. The medium is the message and the message I've received is the audience is not important. It would be best to take this video down in my opinion. I look forward to listening to future videos where I can focus on Andrew's insightful ideas. Thanks

To the artist, I know your stuff is precious to you and it’s hurtful that you think people will get rid of them once you are gone. But put yourself in their shoes. Imagine your dad or husband was a mechanic and left all his tools and auto mechanic magazines and manuals to you and you have no interest in such stuff. Perhaps you might want to keep some tools that you can still personally use or his favorite hammer as a keepsake. But you likely wouldn’t want to keep ALL the auto mechanic related stuff. It doesn’t mean he as a person meant any less to you. He was/ is not that/ those items. Let them go and hopefully they can continue to be of use to someone who can use them ❤

The sound is muffled in the intro and with Andrew. I tried two different speakers and other videos. Did anyone else have this issue? Aside from that, this is great info. Thank you!!

I love your talks, thank you. The audio on this video is muffled and echoey. Do you have a professional microphone that you could use, because what you have to say is worth every single second everyone spends listening to it. I can't play this loud enough because of the audio unfortunately, and I would play this more loudly to listen to while cleaning out a room...seriously... :) This video is amazing! The question and answer part of it around 1 hour was super helpful, putting together ALL of the items that are alike, then decide which to keep... thank you!

great conversation, thanks for sharing! on the other hand, you need to get a proper microphone, even those usb ones will work, and also record the audio directly from your guest's computer instead of playing their audio over the internet which sounds super bad

My in laws got a divorce partly over one being clean the other not. 30 yrs of marriage and 7 kids then a divorce. The dad would ask people to come over for lunch on Sunday just so his wife would clean the house and kitchen. It was the only time she would vacum or empty the sink. Unbelievable.

Its called gaslighting. If someone says this they are saying you are misinterpreting their motives or issues. One of the 6 or 7 tools of the gaslighter. Sorry you feel that way. Not acknowledging the truth just denial.

Its amazing we had a screwdriver in the drawer and multiple scizzors in different drawers just like your example on Inside Edge presentation. Your book on busy is the best I've ever seen. Love the small sentence format, summary at end of chapters. I read 10 pages everyday. The section on procrastination is awesome. I've bought books on this subject but never did they say what you say in one chapter. Love the point that no way around it, no magic pill to make you motivated except schedule and do it. Great blunt facts. Thanks

You have no competition. No one else presents this material clear and to the point like this. All the others are overly wordy and not direct and no nonsense. Loved the way you didn't let people off the hook on your live presentation about the book a few yrs back. Especially the lady with the daughter and her nanny stuff. Perfect.

Ive thought about your vids and how they apply to relationships and how your principles apply. How many conversations and people waste your time and bring clutter into your life. Focusing on previous problems 20 years ago without a solution is wasted time and wastes your energy today let it go into the trash can like old papers. Anyway just thinking about these principles.

You had a comment about people who write things on little pieces of paper and have them all over their house. What is a better suggestion just having a few notebooks or what is your suggestion on that? I didn’t hear that in that particular podcast?

I had a former bully send me a friend request on social media and I told him off via messenger and his response was "I'm sorry you feel that way" which is half assed "apology". "I'm sorry you feel that way" is pretty much saying "I'm sorry for the way your reacting" not "I'm sorry for what I did". The point of an apology is to hold accountability for what you did and owning up to it.

I’m stumbling across this video and feel that your approach will take me to where I’ve never been… in a fully functional organized house. Did the toss-keep-decide-later baskets, tried containerizing, attempted Kon Marie, paid people to help me declutter, but no one ever addressed my “WHY do I have clutter?“ mindset. My husband is a messy and his chaos is even worse. I’ve told him for years that we need to just start putting things back. We will need to embrace this together, but thank you for putting into words what I’ve intuitively suspected. You’ve exposed the root of our mess- our mindset!

There are no cuss words. There are just words to express our thoughts and feelings. I love that you are willing to be authentically you. I use these same words and it’s just a way of expressing emotions or making a point. I lost my husband to ALS and have chronic health issues. I’m also frozen…I can’t get anything accomplished. Between the severe exhaustion of my health problems and the grief, I’m not getting things done. I don’t have money to hire anyone and no family to help. I already did grief therapy and that didn’t help. I can’t wait to follow and do my best to implement your helps. Your caring spirit comes through and I love that! Mom hugs to you!

I’ve been doing this. Makes me feel so good/happy but I still think of the things when they’re in the trash. And sometimes people judge but it is a mental thing. But it makes me happy that I have a lot of empty space, the simplicity of it all. Doing it a little at a time. I look and what I’ve done and I feel so proud of myself. The only thing that I could never get rid are my CD’s. Loved music as a kid and just collected cds, and it makes me happy to look at them. I’m 37 now.
