Any tips on cleaning brushes afterwards?
@pamcarluk4 ай бұрын
Sorry, no tips on this. Best thing to do is to use cheap brushes or old ones that you can just bin afterwards.

I have a rubber mold that deforms under its own weight when i try and fill it. How do you make the original casting without a mother mold? Ive managed to make some decent castings by hanging the mold upside down and filling it with concrete but it does stretch itself taller under its own weight.
@pamcarluk7 ай бұрын
"Hi, I understand how you feel, as I've experienced this before. Casting without a mother mold is only ideal for small molds, and it also depends on whether the rubber mold is thick enough to support its weight. I would suggest trying to support it with sand around it while hanging the mold upside down to see if it will help. Good luck!"

Hi, I didn't apply wax on this specific project but it turned out perfect. It actually depends on the texture of the model. I applied wax in some of my projects please check out the videos. Thanks

Nice video. It is easier if you first coat the inside of your fibreglass in resin, or apply a coat of resin on the item...then press in your fibreglass, then wet the outside...working with a dry sheet like you do takes more time and you are more likely to struggle with bubbles en air pockets.
