I was familiar with the original Advanced Fighting Fantasy from my late-teen and then some years back learnt Arion Games had done a second edition of it then I learnt about Stellar Adventures a couple of years later in 2021, which is effectively the Sci Fi version of it and is a really nice system. As far as I know this is only the second KZbin video of someone using it for a solo game so thanks for doing this. Stellar Adventures does seem to have received a lot less attention than second edition Advanced Fighting Fantasy. I guess it is the usual preference by a lot of role player gamers for fantasy, rather than science fiction. I am afraid you robbed yourself twice in character creation. You should have had a third Special Skill with +2 in it. The other guy who did a KZbin video of himself running a solo Stellar Adventures session also made this mistake. The base value for LUCK is also 8, not 4 so you should have had LUCK 11, rather than LUCK 7. I am sure I would make even more mistakes if I tried making a KZbin video of a solo RPG session.

This video should probably be shown to more people interested in fiddling around with solo RPGs. I suppose if you made an updated version, you might want to include something like Chat GPT, etc. Because it pairs great with all of these for solo play.

For those who aren't aware of Cairn. It is essentially another way to play table top rpg besides dnd. In Cairn, character creation is easy, and even if you roll bad. you still have a lot of fun. The spell, yes you can cast spell in this game, is flexible and can be describe up to your imagination. For example, I guess elasticity, makes your body stretch ten feet. Not ten feet length, width, or height, just ten feet. Doesn't even have duration. You are Luffy from one piece.

No vid here but I did come up with a random word, USURP. Used various oracles and HoA Bookmark ed. Rolled up: Hormgriff a Ranger/Cleric lvl 2. (One needs something extra when alone.) Location: a misty dell. Hormgriff escorts a noble diplomat to a meeting. Off course it was a trap. It is sprung. They escape, barely and are chased over the moors.... Fun way to start! And I wanted to try the Bookmark edition for group play. Tnx for both
