Karwar road isn't good. Always packed with gas and oil tankers. Take the road via Ramnagar Anmod route. I just went 2 days back and except for a km or 2 the road is really good

Took same route while going with my friends in 2019! It was good! Always start your Goa journey from Palolem (south Goa). It is the most peaceful place compared to other places in Goa. Please spend some time in Palolem beach in the evening sun set.

Getting safari slot is a challenge, you have to reserve early. Look at safari gates around Pangdi core and buffer gates like Nimdhela, Sirkheda, belara, Madnapur, Keslaghat. These areas are less crowded but gives good tiger sighting chances.

Pench me tiger sighting hoti hai, almost everytime I visited. But you will need some luck. Maharashtra side safari can be booked from this website. Khursapar and sillari are good zones. safaribooking.mahaforest.gov.in/

The tents are secure from insects, it is advisable to keep it closed/zipped when not using. The bathroom was basic but tidy when I visited and understood that they were renovated meanwhile.

This route is a boon. However, the route between TADAS and Kalaghatgi is really really bad. Also few major patches on NH52 while in the ghat area makes it a bit cumbersome. I have not yet explored the route via Yellapur to Bankapura. If anyone can update on this as I believe it should be constructed by now (was under construction last new year) please respond here. I have one request to make ie PL AVOID CARRYING DISPOSABLE PET BOTTLES WHILE ON A TREK because pet bottles get heated up & consuming stored water is harmful. We have tried booking the same way and paid 2800 rupees for the forest guest house accommodation.. however when j tried to book for safari it showed as no bookings found.. and there was a cancel option for room booking and i cancelled it.. but there was no refund provided So i lost my 2800 money with no booking at guest house and no safari.. please mention that there will be no guarantee of safari booking confirmation when we book room

Yes it is safe...the road surface is ok (not four lane highway). The drive through Panna tiger reserve is scenic.

You can drive to Dharwad bypass, then take left to reach Ponda via Anmod - Molen. From Ponda drive to your destination.

Ok, then this route should workout. Road between Molen and Dharwad is not in best condition so there is no better alternative as far as I know.

Yes, this is still the best route. A bridge at Karwar has collapsed so there is a diversion. So follow this video up to Yallapur and then follow Google maps. From where exactly you will return from North Goa?

I have safari 235/65/r17 size , i want to change it to 235/65/r18 . can I upgrade it to this size?

I don't think you can. If you want a R18 tyre, you will have to change the rims. You will also have to reduce the side wall height if you increase the rim size. The idea is to keep the overall diameter of the wheel unchanged. Otherwise you will face issues while driving. The wheel may even touch with wheel arches.
