I clearly agree with most of her assessment and some of her solutions partly, but make no mistake, Norway was never under the carnage of Slavery and then colonialism and then neo colonialism. It's a mistake to compare any African state to Norway. This is the same mistake made in America when Minority communities are expected to be at equal footing with the white Americans as a community. Like African Americans, Africa was "sucked dry" by the tyranny of imperialism. It is to the detriment of Africa that the West developed. This is critical and plays a major role in economic imbalance between Africa and the West. Moreover, the new program of neo colonialism is in place to ensure that through weak trade agreements and biased policies that capitalism consumes Africa and her resources to benefit these capitalist powers.

IMF & World bank loans necessitates aid in Africa and aid is given to perpetuate the circle of poverty created by servicing lMF& World bank exuberant high interest rates with condansenting conditions that are calculated to trap African countries into poverty. The western exploitative matrix is rendering Africa into poverty whilst they are harvesting our previous mineral and natural resources cheaply without leaving or pomoting skills for local beneficiation. On these loans lMF and world bank does not care as to what bevame of them when they are issued. All the look forward is their service. Thety are mindful that many governments misappropriate them and use the corruptly for personal self enrichment.This African corrupt governments theafter would raise the cost of living to make more money out of taxation. As the subjects foot the bill caused by corrupt government out of misappropriation of loans which have high interest rates and condansenting conditions, they get poorer and donations because a necessary momentary relief that does not solve the problem for good. This vicious circle restart against even if the loan is not fully serviced. All these so called poor countries have their previous and rare minerals cheaply harvested by mining conglomerates companies from the west. That very west controls IMF and World bank. The very west gives Africa donations to play as a saviour.WHO IS FOOLING WHO?

She is the proponet of idea that development aid cripples the economy by giving some examples. She does not curse humanitarian aid. Neverthless she believes aid is not the solution to economic growth.
