Superior engineering? This is the trend e-bikes have been waiting for? This video was posted 7 years ago. Where is this "superior in every way" concept drivetrain? How come it hasn't caught on? Why isn't it more popular? It can't simply be "because it's too expensive," when there are companies selling 5, 6, even $7000 (sometimes even higher) bikes. I'm very sceptical of that "superior in every way" claim in this video.

Se ve interesante este modelo de bicicleta con cardan, aunque me gustaría probarla personalmente para ver qué tan buena es. Gracias
@lavaradecaduceo86684 жыл бұрын
La transmisión cardan era la primera forma de transmisión que se usaba en las bicicletas antiguas, se rompían poco, pero cuando lo hacían era desastroso y muy dificil de arreglar, además pesa bastante mas que un sistema de platos y cadena.

Wrong gear. The wheel rotates slower then cadence. In accordance with picture shown, the gears must be vice versa.

Ridiculous animation.... I would never show that to a potential investor... They will laugh at you!

thats why they are germans, and pushing technology forward, and you are americans, and you have to import smart people.
@russelldawkins90943 жыл бұрын
@@uroskostic8570 You think? This is the wet dream of an immature and inexperienced techno nerd, and the ridiculous animation is fittingly completely out of touch with the real world! Mike Bartoli is correct you would be laughed at in a presentation. And, by the way, where is the motor that is implied, not to speak of the battery and gearbox? I'd laugh, too, but it's a little sad, actually.

No. The hub motor and all the electronics were all fine. It was only the ball bearing in the crank that caused the repair. - During that they changed the electronics and refused to put the old controller back on afterwards. All in all it was a very strange experience.

@airedaledk what crack? it stopped working?
@airedaledk14 жыл бұрын
@DanFrederiksen I really loved my bike. But the crack went after 700 km. Bilka fixed it, but they also changed the electric controller etc. in order to "improve the performance". The result was that it was a totally different bike that I got back. Slow and with a very slow uptake. I turned out that the original controller gave too much power. The end of the story was that, after a long series of conversations with a junior manager from Bilka, I finally got my money back.
