I love Matt. But this is a mess. Such a powerful tune. Just butchered by the man himself.

If I was stranded o a desert island and someone asked me what music I would want, with no hesitation, it would be all of Matthew good music solo and the band! That's all I would need!

Just can’t get into Dallas Green. He’s good, but I just don’t feel the sincerity that Matt Good conveys. Like fine wine and cheap beer.
@rubadee2 ай бұрын
not sure about that. I've been a Dallas Green fan from the beginning. Same for Mathew. It's not a competition. Dallas has his own issues and it comes through his music. We the fans benefit from the music

It's about mental health and being bipolar..."I know you know that I ain't me so, us remains impossible". In other words, the existence of two personalities in one mind makes things impossible...

This is the purest example of why I haven’t bought a ticket to see him live. Sure, he won’t care about my reasons but it’s well documented how he changes the songs when live. Sing the songs the way you record them. People feel short changed when they pay to see you perform the song. I’m well aware of his bi polar disorder but for fuck sakes, people pay for what they know to be good. When you change it because you think it’s better; you’re hoping the general public will think the same and it’s not right.

You forget that songwriters are artists and have the latitude to change/improvise as they go along. Listen to classical music, different conductors, different orchestras and different instruments have different arrangements. It’s all part of the show.

So fuckin glad Matts a Canuck!!! Which province is Mr. Good from ??? I think it's Vancouver, BC. Was tickled to find that Matt covered a Big Wreck tune, epic, nice to see you guys keeping it real &'supporting each other. This song is so well written & Matt truly has an original, unique talent for composition that showcases his unbelievably human genius for the lyrics his voice so eloquently bring to life. This is ART.
