Her vocal sounds like Kate Bush, she must be a big fan to copy her exact style of singing.

DJ Ron got props in the UK hardcore/jungle scene in the 90s. But not as much as he deserved. This track is the epitome of the jungle/ Hardcore Cross over . It was a magical era for underground music

I don't know why... I've known this song and the clip for over 10 years now... And today it brought me to tears. Maybe it's the dark times we are living in. We need this now more than ever. Thank you Richard Rudolph for writing this song, thank you Minnie Riperton for making it known to the world, thank you 4hero and Carina Andersson for this version, and thank you Jake and the cru at HTF Inc for the amazing video!

What prescient lyrics this song had back then - and how much worse it's got since. Beautiful craftsmanship or should I say craftswomenship!

its a shame that the modern pop kids are just sampling this instead of getting behind an instrument and making it.

A IA based enhancement/remake of this gem, that would be great.

Will somebody wear me to the fair? (To the morning sings the lovely flower) Will a lady pin me in her hair? (Ooh) Will a child find me by a stream? (Be lovely in the sunny shower) ooh Kiss my petals, weave me through a dream For all of these simple things And much more a flower was born It blooms to spread love and joy Faith and hope, to people forlorn Inside every man lives the seed of a flower If he looks within he finds beauty and power Ring all the bells sing and tell the people Everywhere that the flower has come Light up the sky with your prayers of gladness And rejoice for the darkness is gone Throw off your fears, let your heart beat freely At the sign that a new time is born May mosaydee kaylie lowya roses (May mosaydee kaylie lowya roses) Say money ain't na, na, no, oh na (mmh) Looking for vayda tay breeze (Looking for vayda tay breeze) ooh May mosaydee kaylie lowya roses (mmh) For all of these simple things And much more a flower was born It blooms to spread love and joy Faith and hope, to people forlorn Inside every man lives the seed of a flower If he looks within he finds beauty and power Ring all the bells sing and tell the people Everywhere that the flower has come Light up the sky with your prayers of gladness And rejoice for the darkness is gone Throw off your fears, let your heart beat freely At the sign that a new time is born La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la-la (ring all the bells sing and tell the people) La-la-la, la-la-la-la-la-la (everywhere that the flower has come) La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la-la (light up the sky with your prayers of gladness) La-la-la, la-la-la-la-la-la (and rejoice for the darkness is gone) La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la-la (throw off your fears, let your heart beat freely) La-la-la, la-la-la-la-la-la (at the sign that a new time is born) La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la-la (ring all the bells sing and tell the people) La-la-la, la-la-la-la-la-la (everywhere that the flower has come) La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la-la (light up the sky with your prayers of gladness) La-la-la, la-la-la-la-la-la (and rejoice for the darkness is gone) La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la-la-la (throw off your fears, let your heart beat freely) La-la-la, la-la-la-la-la-la (at the sign that a new time is born)

Crippled by malaise, the fear & complete and utter anhedonia throughout day 6 of my opioid withdrawal, this magic gem here suddenly had me raving around mad with tears of joy in my eyes (dunno if non-ex-addicts will be able to fully comprehend what this actually means). Will be trying to grasp and hold on to that moment as long as I can to get me through this... Blessings to all of the creators involved, and an extra blessing to the drummer - listen to the full album version's outro, what a beast! You guys are true saviors <3

Had to come find this because it's an excellent cover of the original and it was bugging me that I knew the chorus, but couldn't place it -- I would have been like 12 months old when Minnie Ripperton released it ;)
