We stopped watching Bloomberg TV particularly for pushing this social/political agenda each June.

♥ That's real fresh air and a strong sense of independence ! What a talented developer exhorting masses to be confident about the future of C++ and what it can deliver on safety and feature set without falling in the corporate trap of Jarbon, Jpp2 and Jala. Circle is C++ and deserves our attention and support as a community !

Journalism sorts of direct this current modern world, cause everyone’s got something to say and ask on the various social media platform. And what’s worse than ignorance is false knowledge. I personally have given up on getting information online ever since I practiced journalism for a year for my blog. It was way easier to scrape fake news than to get good sources for the real news. Learnt a lot from Francine honestly, moving all the way from the desire to be a lawyer to being a journalist for 20 years is a whole lot. And I’m a late person myself. Although, yes you’d definitely have met different people with different opinions and beliefs, even if you were a lawyer - the real challenge, and like you said, getting enough people mad is like an approval for your work done. Now, journalism without data is hearsay. And I’m pleased to see how hard Bloomberg has yoked both eggs into one. It’s the placard for reliability, or should I say Authenticity. And the real time reports on almost any subject matter or topic is crazy; like how are you getting to track just anything; can’t imagine the tech and timely reports coming in every minute However knowing Anoma from Uni, and seeing her thrive in a totally unrelated field as well, from what she studied in uni, is crazy. Dedication and commitment really pays off. And I’m glad she was able to include her social volunteering impact in her career. Always thought there was going to be a limitation once you start working on in big companies or organizations like Bloomberg. And I’ve gotten inspired and motivated from this episode really. The last few minutes was essential for me, haven’t given myself a pat on the back in a long time, focusing on the lows really drains.
