Ive got 3 of these reels they are great reels but a little heavy for casting lures over and over the non lliner version is better for that .

Your anchor trolley line is WAY too tight...! If you give it some slack, you can just pull the line DOWN and it will un-clip from the 4 "Keepers" - all the way down the hull...! (The "Keepers" are only there to clip the line when it isn't being used, and to guide the line on top to the pulleys).

I ordered the Arizona Captain Boots hoping that the color would look like these Arizona Boots in this video. Unfortunately they totally don’t my Arizona Boots are drastically darker 😕 Then I ordered the Terracotta boots hoping that they would be a lighter brown and they also arrived WAY darker than the pictures Thursday uses to promote the Terracotta. They sell nice Boots just know that the colors aren’t exactly the same as you see in the pictures.

I wonder if one could rivet cleets or, something similar, to the kayak that would give the straps something to rest against and not slide off the narrow end?

That’s a really nice set up you have for fishing. I don’t fish but I lug a ton of stuff to an island about a mile away from my backyard. A friend hooked me up with a used kayak cart similar to yours and I was very happy to be able to get to the river 1/4 mile down the road with all my gear loaded and ready for what ever. The few things that I ran into over time was my cart had straps to hold the frame open with the kayak on it. Well they soon snapped and I used some 3/8in nylon rope to make it work better with the amount of weight I put in my kayak. The other thing was when I had the cart strapped at either end the weight was then transferred to my arms to carry. Placing it near the center makes it a heck of a lot better to wheel it over long distances. While in transit I use 2 old ratchet straps that I cut the straps to length and sewed them up so I wouldn’t have to mess around with setting them up to fit every time. I just hook the long side of strap first then the short ratchet side then tighten up a couple spins then do the same for the other strap getting the pressure about the same for front and back ratchet strap. Plus when I get to the island I use my kayak with the cart as a wagon to haul my gear around. I do volunteer maintenance of over 4 miles of trails on 300 acres of land. Ok I said way to much. I hope this will help someone out there.

Tscha-Tscha-Tschew...LOL! ... I like that you used this product and share it with me. Like you, I thought it should engage the kayak earlier when removing it from the vehicle. I also felt that the "raison d'etre" for purchasing this product was to use a drag rope to pull it to the water (nomatter if that water be local, or a few clicks N,E,W,or S).

Thanks for sharing. Can your anchor be pulled all the way to the hull or all the way to the back of kayak? I can’t tell if the paracord clips would prevent it from traveling the entire length of the kayak…which would defeat the purpose of an anchor trolley.

Put the cart closer to the seating. Reduce your lifting weight. Be easy on yourself, girl. I won't add metal seating or anything else topside if it obstructs me from slithering fast back aboard after a capsize amid big waves. Hope you have an inflated paddle - float to assist that entry. Me? I've had 20 years of paddling the Salish Sea. Magnet fishing for guns found near bridges; throwing back any lifted firearm that is too small.

I’ve only worn the Titans 2 days so far & that’s because I can’t get over the squeaky noise they make when I’m walking around the office. It’s pretty loud. The squeaking seems to come from the tongue rubbing against the upper. Im not sure if that’s something that’ll go away as they’re broken in or not, but I’m definitely planning to do a follow up video on it.

@@oscarsuncin7932 I just put some baby powder on the tongue of mine last night & it fixed the problem. I wore them today & they didn’t make a noise. It was great. The baby power makes a mess but I wiped mine off with a clean dry towel & brushed them with a horsehair brush & it cleaned them back up pretty good. I recommend trying the baby powder. I googled how to stop boots from squeaking & that was one of the suggestions. It worked like a charm for me. I’m going to shoot a follow up video this week. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

@@rottenreelsportsentertainm2071 The first review I saw had 2 guys saying the squeak went away after a day or two. I am not sensing that is going to happen now that I'm wearing my pair. Kinda wish I had known about this because I had to exchange mine twice just to get a good pair. Guess I'll do the talcum/baby powder thing too.
