Got them for Christmas and installed them yesterday. I ended up connecting directly to the battery. Thanks for the video! Here’s hoping the glue holds up 🤞🏼

how is that super glue holding up? I got a new bike and had issues with the oxford glue on my last bike so i want to try something else on this one

How much do you need to lower the forks to keep the geometry right .thanks

It would be great to see the wiring part in the video, which you have missed out. It wiring part is very essential and the most crucial for anyone trying to setup these at home (DIY)

At least in Europe (Spain, Germany) you can only find the "new" Premium Adventure grips with Blue writing and without these waterproof connectors. Even on their website this model is displayed. So not sure, either they produce a different product for Europe or they still - after 1 year - selling only the old product marked as "new". Otherwise its a very good video for the installation.

Greetings, As always another brilliant detailed video production 🇺🇲🍾🎉🇺🇲 WOW, looks amazing!! Would you provide me with the link to purchase the exhaust kit and also would you have a video with the sound, how is the exhaust kit holding up? Thank you so much for assisting me and keep producing more videos about the T7

It’s unbelievable that ktm don’t supply heated grips as a add on, I’m just buying a new 390 adventure 2024 bike and my dealer won’t fit any aftermarket heated grips for warranty reasons ffs
@seanb10817 ай бұрын
Thanks, excellent installation review. Especially as I own the same bike. Are the heated grips on your friends CB500X still working well 2.5 years later?

Have one of these on my Suzuki v strom 1050, absolutely awesome, selling the bike soon to buy a KTM 390 ADV, was wondering if I could get one for the 390, then came across your video, guess what’s now on my shopping list.👍

Cool speed up video with wrenches. So I ended up purchasing a Canadian Edition today before the good financial rate ended. It arrives mid April and I've never sat on one lol. Was either this or the Transalp but the Yamaha seemed to fit me better. Give me the ability to go off-road more so I won't miss ATVing. Were those Yamaha lowering links? Think I asked you last time what your inseam was but I can't remember.

I put one of these on my 890, I knew as soon as it was mounted it was WAY too tall, at its lowest setting it blew the windstream a good 8" over top of my helmet. Meaning looking thru it all the time was how it was designed to work. A 220 dollar mistake on my part. Im 6 foot tall and this shield is built for someone closer to 6' 8" tall. Several other YT reviewers have said the same thing, while some only say "Its Great!". Its only money.

Thank You - Great Video and very helpful! One question: How did you mount three square control box? I really like the location, but don’t see any bolt/mounting points on my T7 left of the instrument cluster. Thanks again!

Wire coat hangers work great too. Golf club grip solvent and the hanger and grips come off reusable.

If you had used the Oxford Touring Grips rather than the Adventure grips you would not have had to trim them down. CB500X OEM Grips are 120mm long. Exact size of the Oxford Touring Grip.

what if you want to install auxillary lights and heated grips? Should you plug the wire in the same connector or split the wire harness?

For lights you can use the 2-pin adapter. That's how I installed two Baja lights.

Great video! Question, have you ridden your friends CB500x and if so how does it compare to your KTM 390 Adventure? I have a 2021 CB500x and I'm thinking of trading it in for a KTM 390 adventure. Your thoughts on the matter would be much appreciated.

I am doing this job soon. I will use the switched accessory plug under the seat due to comments about the controller's parasitic current draw. Also thinking of buying a cheap throttle tube to avoid butchering the original tube and grip.

get pry bar or piece of wood under rear wheel and when you about to remove link bolts pry rear wheel a little UP, this will release bolt easy instead of pulling them with pliers.

So the million dollar question is, How Do You Like it? Are you happy with it? Would u buy it again or look for something else? Any buffeting? Is the adjustable worth it or is the touring model the way to go??
