So many good things to say. I liked the questions asked; you guys covered a lot of ground within a short period of time. I also loved the throwback photos in the B-roll; I had actually never seen that TNT Boyz photo, so that was a nice touch. "Give It Back" is a great song that's been on repeat. I would've liked to hear Carnell answer a question. 😩 Maybe next time 😄

Shout out to The Spinners I Mr. Henry Fambrough , founder, and one of the great lead singers of the Spinners. I had a pleasure through many years of working with Mr. Thom Bell to write and co-write many songs for them one of them being “Just As Long As We Have Love” a duet with the Great Ms Dionne Warwick. My writing name is Vinnie Barrett.

Most beloved, in what ever you are going through, I ask Jesus who is God Almighty to make you greater in health that you can at lease enjoy the rest of a natural life until old age takes its place. After Sam cooke , Luther Vandross, the Platters, The Drifters and others; you were the most notable golden voice giant of the world to give us great music. Thank you for your beautiful singing and I am asking the world to join me in always praying for you. Also thanks to the promoter of this video

John Edwards did such a beautiful job with CUPID that it's a shame that most people only Knew the song from KZbin. When we talk about golden voice giants in the black community ; we have to include Mr.John Edwards . If he had recorded some of the Platters and Drifters song, it would have been a beautiful gift to this world of beautiful music. Does any one agree with me ?

That would be so good. Their story needs to be told properly. Even a documentary on the side would be great. I wonder why no one has tried to make one.

I just finished reading Richard's book which I found very interesting. I'm so sorry what he went through in the group and why he stayed while being underappreciated. Otis was insensitive only being about himself and Melvin. Both least talented.

When Black Ivory first performed at the Apollo Theater, many patrons never realized that the group was from Harlem. That changed dramatically when WWRL (AM) had the group's Playlist airing 24/7 throughout the city...

Damon stated that he recorded 9 albums, as a Tempt. I can only come up with 5. Solid Rock, All Directions, Masterpiece, 1990, A Song For You. Wonder what are the other 4?🤔

It would be very easy to be an "I am this or that" after the success of The Spinners, but Mr Edwards comes across as a very humble and thankful man; an excellent interview with a real gentleman...

I can say from personal contact, that John is been exactly that, and was brought on to replace Phillipe Wynn after he self-absorbedly quit in 1977 over naming rights. With John and his remarkable vocal style and range, The Spinners moved on to their next plateau of success. "Working My Way Back To You" and "Cupid/I've Loved You For A Long Time" were perfectly produced for the Disco era.

I’m so glad John Edwards has FINALLY gotten his just due. Phillipé Wynn was great and got all the credit (even long after leaving the group). But John’s monstrous vocals on “Working My Way Back To You” and “Cupid” make up for not having as many hits as Phillipé had with the Spinners. John getting this honor while he was alive was awesome. Did you see Henry Fambrough beam when they mentioned him. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! John Edwards, thank you for contributions to the Spinners and to popular and soul music

After Otis and Ron leaves the group, I wonder if they'll ever do a complete overhaul by going younger. It would be interesting to see a modern day version of the Temptations while still keeping the original style.
