Nice review. When I first got mine I had to place the slide on the edge of my table and push on the frame to get it to cock. Now that the slide moves it does take more than a little effort to work the slide so much to the point I'll be returning it. It takes so much effort there my young enthusiasts cannot cock it. My PSM45 requires some effort, but over all is a much smoother pistol to operate. I might have a bad copy of the DSX-45 though. If I can return it I might try another before completely writing this one off. Good review of the pistol though. Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words, and for sharing your experience. I haven't let the kids try to cock it yet, but I'm not sure that they'd be able to like you stated. I haven't found the ideal child training pistol yet, but I haven't looked much yet either. Perhaps the psm45 will be the answer.

By the time you were at 5 feet, there was really no noise. Your neighbours would have to be pretty miserable to complain. The thing is, with non-PCP, most of the noise is from the firing mechanism, there is not much you can do about that. But heck, there is not much noise anyway. Great video; I thought that was really interesting.

I agree, none of them make much noise. I have received no complaints, but after complaints would be a late start. 😉 The sound of the target carries further than the guns I think, I have been asked what I was building/about my nailgun after some shooting sessions. 😂 I'm glad you enjoyed the video. ~Papa T

Great video. We don't get many Crossman air rifles here in Australia. The 1 I see most offten is a model that takes small CO2 cartridges. Very low power, good for smacking cans. $150 for a PCP though? That is no money!!

The shaft needs to be periodically lubricated with the oil it came with, and check the filter for replacement.

Buckrail has 2 smaller ones that wud work better. I got that and turned up Hammerstein all the way in and 1 turn out. Pretty decent now

I do think I should have went with the tapered version instead, as this one blocks the fill probe enough to require removal for fills. But it is doing its job. Until I got on to start ordering my parts, I wasn't aware he had the cap or special moderator adapter just for 3622. They definitely match up beautifully, which is exactly what I expected would be true.
