Thought the extent of liking something that much was ridiculous, bc I adapted to my work expectations and how they wanted me to present myself. Nevertheless to say, my love for the villainess genre grew and I haven’t been happier since I left that company, that reminded me on the classic corrupt aristocrats in those stories 🤭

My copium for that scene is, that deep down, he wanted this to happen. So, it's not entirely coincidental, but much more a flaw in his own character. Like, he probably had already come up with this as a Plan B in case he talk with Euphemia go south.

I’m probably the only one leaving a critical comment but I can see there is no relationship between the characters vs. the backgrounds and settings they’re in. To me, it looks like someone just pasted the characters in. The backgrounds don’t have a harsh black outline while all the characters, including fabric folds, are outlined. We don’t see the curtain folds are outlined so why are the clothing folds outlined? The backgrounds also use soft light and shading while the characters have basic cel shading. It makes things not jive like they’re in separate dimensions.

KILL A VILLANESS is manhwa with the start twist I have not read in dozens of others Villanesses stories; so it is A MASTERFULL TWISTED STORY with otome setting were YOU WILL DiSPISE THE MOST MALE CHARACTERS. Have I intrigued you. 😏 Do read it! Ah yes almost at the end is a big trigger but nothing tooo grapfic if worried about that.

I'd recommend kill the villainess manhwa. Although it's not really consistent to the revenge story plot and tad overrated, but it's on my top suggestion 😅

I disagree. while old LOGH is amazing, the pacing of the show isnt as good as the new one and the character focus seems better in the modern. Also the newer one feels far more grand due to the better production value.

I think among what I've read only 2 of them have captured the phycological effect on Isekai and desperation to survive and go back explored is " villainess is destined to die " and "Kill the villainess" (best ) . Some of their breakdown made legit cry ( like Elise forgetting how her og face looked like ) honorable mention : " not your typical reincarnation" : where not girl is her own person the og Edith was her own person not just 2D character . And to make dvery other reincarnation actually feel like they were thier own person is something mjst of this manhwa forgets it . These were the kne that did it fir me atleast . ( Read 'kill the villainess ' everyone)

I don't like this anime because of the lazy voice and how slow they interact from one character to another , it make's me sleepy to watch.

one thing i wish you mentioned was how this movie tackled the idea of fate with logic. lelouch defied fate by his will power and logic and that deserves recognition. i do agree that not many characters grew,but lelouch and c2 definitely did.

I read The Holy Grail of Eris because of this and it might really be the best villainess manhwa ever... I'm really into both mystery stories and villainess manhwas so this manga really suited my tastes! The plot twists are so good, the drama and art, everything is so perfect!! It's everything I want in a story perfectly put together... I love u so much for recommending it!

One of my favorite things about maomao, is that her scientific knowledge is a product of the time and her experiments and experience; she’s not some healer who knows about germ theory 200 years before it was invented for absolutely no reason. She doesn’t have an omnipotent/audience knowledge of modern medicine/chemistry. Everything she knows comes from her own experience and is a product of the time she lives in.

in the first few minutes it was emphasized that chintanda's memory is impressive because she remember every word from the announcement then proceeds to forgot the reason why they playing the game in the first place lmao

Your favorite villainess manga had a very interesting plot: a dead villainess possessing a dainty girl to act on her revenge/expose the current queen? I did check the spoilers, however, and all I can day is, the so-called revenge is not satisfying at all and it seems to have a huge plot hole regardinng the death of the villainess. Theres a reason why novelupdate rates it as merely a 3/5.

Animation is the best format for fight scenes. Nothing else can really compete tbh.

I think it makes sense for his ability to “break” in that moment… because in reality it doesn’t; it is a mental ability and he was thinking about saying that to his sister however his power at that point was so tuned that it read the underlying thought of giving a command and did it as if he actually wanted to do it In short his power is “think command, say command whilst looking person in the eyes” and what happened was “unconsciously think about the command, say command whilst looking the person in the eyes”

As everyones recommending their fav villainess stories, I am going to recommend mine which is called "Perks of being a villainess". Its honestly my MOST favorite mamhwa ever! The female lead trying to not be a pushover bcz of her previous life and keeping the villainess demeanor is what really kicks me on. I love how she uses basic knowledge from her past life and uses it to make multiple stores and patents(she even patented a math formula which was seen as a "major breakthrough" in the timeline she reincarnated in😂), Basically her goal is to make 10 billion gold money so she can buy herself a noble title after she leaves the age of marriage(theres a law in that manhwa country that a women must get married by a curtain age or she'll lose her noble status). I love the way she pretends to be a villainess as much as she can despite her fears and being a simp for attractive looking guys😂
