Never got to see Porcelain Bus, but you just mentioned Trade Union Club and you deadset had me tripping back to the 80s. We'd get off the train at Central and walk up smoking our joints before we got there.

Ma poi il testo parla del cadavere di una ragazza suicida con una leggerezza e un disincanto oggi impossibili!

This song stirs my heart in ways I can’t fully put into words. Every time I hear it (which is rare, since it’s hardly ever played on the radio-though who even listens to the radio these days when Spotify is just a tap away?), this one person always crosses my mind. Without fail. I don’t know how or when I linked this song to him, or if it's the song that reminds me of him, or him of the song. Either way, they're forever intertwined in my thoughts whenever those familiar notes play.

Pietro

This song was released as I'm starting the first grade Sept 1986 Stephanie has the voice that just takes you into space and I didn't know this was written by up and coming artist Karyn White aka The Superwoman.

This 10 minute clip on Friday Night Videos in the early 80s turned me on to the band and changed my life…made me, a Queens bred Anglophile proud to be a NYer. Saw them live at The Ritz in NYC in 81, Peter had a broken leg in a cast and walked on and off in crutches but still played his heart out and the band kicked ass!! I own both albums and the ‘Tailin You’ single…Dirty Looks was a major part of my late teenage punk/new wave years and at one time the best rock band in the city. Great look, great songs, great sound. R.I.P. Marco and thanks all for the memories!!!❤
