I got one cuttig or esh of those 3 seasons ago and now have a thousand cells, 2-inch pots and parent plants. Next year after it is filled out if you don't prune it the reflexum will spill out over and hang. Its easily proagated by mowing, hacking and pprobably dynamite too lol. I love it. think there's money in the 2.5 in. pots? They're $7.99 here but idk where to sell.

Hi there do you have any update about how's the OG/ momma plant doing after a year time. I've got mine from my mum it's beautiful and seems healthy but shockingly skinny and tall so I'm just wondering what to do with
@LoulousCorner
@LoulousCorner 5 ай бұрын
Hi! Unfortunately, i can't give an update as this plant has been re-homed. But the cuttings rooted, and the mother plant did recover from being cut. If the plant is skinny, you need to give it more light, i noticed that with the mother plant, it was being kept in poor light conditions before i got it, and wheb i gave it more light you could see the new growth was much thicker, that was the main reasin i cut it in the first place, it just looked very top heavy. Thanks for watching!

My apologies! I have slipped on videos lately. Becoming a parent has eaten into my time, and movong house meant i downsized my collection quite significantly. There are some video updates on this plant, but no recent ones, so I'll make an update soon! The bonsai are really doing well and starting to take shape, and i have a nice cluster pot of all the clippings. The beautiful thing about naturally variegated plants is the unpredictability of the variegation patterns. I love it when they push out the odd pure white leaves.

Thanks so much for sharing! Recently just bought a heavily used trip trapp and plan on refinishing it. It’s been a long time since I’ve done anything related to wood restoration. Did you manually sand it? And if so, what grit did you use? You mentioned washing the wood after stripping it so I was also curious about that. Thanks!
@LoulousCorner
@LoulousCorner 8 ай бұрын
Hi! thanks for watching and commenting. You're very welcome! It's nice to hear you enjoyed and learned something from the video 😁 I used a paint stripper and scraper for the most part, small wire brushes for the little grooves where the sitting and foot plates go, and sand paper just to finish. You can use a fine grit, which is anything from 180 to 210 grit. Anything heavier will just scratch up the wood if it's smooth and in good condition. I have another tripp trapp, which is a bit more banged up and has a couple of dents in one of the legs, I'm going to see if a slightly heavier grit paper would work smoothing that, with maybe some wood filler. I'll have to do another video when i get some time. Good luck with yours. It's not as intimidating as you think, and once you get started, I'm sure you'll get into your groove with it.

No problem at all! You could sand it off if you like, i depends on which method you prefer. I didn't want the dust everywhere, so i went with a chemical stripper. I bought a top coat clear varnish as well. This is crucial for 2 reasons: 1) It adds a layer of protection, so the paint doesn't scratch of chip so easily (although a hard enough ding with leave a mark). 2) It adds a waterproof layer so you can clean it with water because BOY does it get dirty in use.

Nice plants! Outdoors it will drink water I have left mine outside in the sun during the summer and it experienced the normal rain and heat of summer and it grew its tail off! Indoors treat it like a cactus because it will rot out on you. The leaves come and go. I have two of them, they can go a month without water indoors and mine usually go almost the entire winter without a drink (indoors of course) when growth slows. I am in zone 5 in the US.

Hi @LoulousCorner! Thanks for making this video! I have just recently bought exactly the same vinted chair and am looking to replace the crotch strap. Could you please tell me where did you get it? Also, was it easy to “slide back the seat and feet boards after they were painted (I was going to paint mine but hesitated if it would go back in 😬). And finally very curious how does it look like now, i.e. did the paint hold well etc? Thanks again for sharing! 😇
@LoulousCorner

@SiamaLT Hi! Thanks for watching, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the video. I had to get an unofficial strap, as stokke don't sell them anymore. I found a few sellers on etsy that make them, and I am happy with the quality. It does the job well. The chair itself is holding up very well. It's well used, and the paint looks as good as ever. It also cleans easily as i made sure to give it a couple of layers of clear coat varnish for protection. The only thing the paint failed on are the screws, which have flaked off a bit, but other than that, it's all cool! Oh, also, in hindsight, i wouldn't bother with the seat cushions. They are more awkward and annoying than anything. Adjusting the chair really isn't difficult. Again, the clear coat protects it from chipping, just as long as you haven't put any layers on too thick it inpedes it. Good luck with your chair!

Very beautiful , clean and neat looking plants. They look as if they've been polished including the leaves and no , I'm not joking. 😊 I have a question though. Could you share some knowledge with us on how to grow a branch on Euphorbia Trigona Green and Red(Rubra)? For example on any Ficus variety we give a slight cut on the stem just above or below the leaf on a medium size plant potted in 12 inches round pot and from there new branches start to appear. But how to do it for these Euphorbia plants? I have no idea and I have not tried anything fearing the plant might attract fungus infection if I give cuts at the side. I have 2 no.s Euphorbia Green and Red each. None of them have branch out yet and they look ugly compared to the others which have branches. Fortunately , they're growing but straight up , no branches. My friend has one with branches but they appeared on their own. I think he's lucky. 😁 So some help will be highly appreciated.

They don’t grow a lot of roots and that is why they fall over. Trick it to use rocks on top of soil to help stabilize it or cut off the top and take those cuttings and repot them after they scab over.

No, I'm from the UK, but i live in Belgium. I don't keep them outside, but on a south facing windowsill. You can keep them outside, though, providing you transition them gradually over a week so they dont get shocked by the sudden drastic light exposure. If the temperature is consistently above 10°C, and if there's a rainy period, either bring them in or give them some shelter so they don't get over watered. If you do all that, they'll thrive and love it!
