He was a rising star until the black community canceled him for being gay. Now ironically George Michael went on to win several prestigious awards from the black community and beyond even after he was outed with having sex in a public restroom! He then went on to become a gay icon for the LGBT (at that time) community! Both Tevin and George was outed at the same time period! So to say it was an era where being gay wasn't accepted is very biased and incorrect. In fact, It's NEVER a good era to be a gay black man! All community's hate you because you a black guy. Black women are stepping out against black men on EVERY platform. The black community ONLY hates black gay men. And the gay community hates black men! As a matter of fact, lgbtq+ is the most SEGREGATED community in America! You better look at those dating app "preferences" where they PREFER not to date, or mess with black men. But don't worry, they say it's not racism to single out ONLY and ALL black men! 😅😂. They have a right to their preferences! 😅 Utter Insanity! But Tevin was THE singer back then and should have been a star from that first run in the Tevin/Prince video Round and Round!
