Dear customer,to detect online devices you should ensure that the device you wish to detect is connected to the same Local Area Network (LAN) .If the device is on a different subnet, it will not be detected by iVMS-4200.

Why you have 9 fields on your Advanced Settings page and I have only 8 fields? Where did you find the email encryption field? Also, I thought DNS Server was to connect with Hik-connect and both Servers use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 why you are changing to something else? Do you still get connection with Hik-connect? Is this in USA by the way, which uses NTSC?

you didnt downloaded ALL images. you downloaded only images from 1st page. if you have many pages, it is imposible to download all images because of so much manual clicking + extraction takes a lot of time(it is slow process). do not buy hikvision, it is piece of crap, because of bad software accesories.

You are right. It takes forever to download all pictures at once. I have 150.000 pictures on 3 cameras and the support does’nt have any solution. Don’t buy this crap.

Hello, This is a bit annoying. I tried many possible combinations with no joy at all. I have been trying to set this up for some days now. My settings are as follows. (that do not work) smtp server: smtp.gmail.com port: 465 (also tried 587 and 25) note that 465 takes some time to give me the dreaded 507 error. 587 and 25 will instantly pop the error on screen username: myusername (also tried [email protected]) password: password1234 sender address: [email protected] receiver1: [email protected] or [email protected] etc etc makes no difference. enable ssl: used both checked and not checked Still nothing. I used some other settings for my business emails and do work with ssl unchecked only. So i used the below for test. smtp server: myemail.providersdetails.com port: 25 username: [email protected] password: mypassword sender address: [email protected] receiver1: [email protected] enable ssl: not checked I have tried the same settings of gmail with hotmail and aol and others. Still the same giving 507 error. So what gives??? Is this an issue with gmail and other email roviders, or this is an issue from HIKVISION? Something on SMTP settings? have no idea what is wrong here. Also just for the record i updated both ivms-4200 and the camera to latest software available. No absolute change here or what so ever. Any ideas would be great. my ivms-4200 just does not email me images and is both annoying and worrying me. A surveillance system that is unable to do what it should is not helping much. Thanks.
