Yes, one can survivce there speaking Russian only. On the streets, about 70% of pedestrians look like people from Russia and Ukraine

I’m not sure why you’re calling this a “chain”. As I think you do understand a bouillon is a type of restaurant, not the specific name of the restaurant and around Paris the bouillons are all independent (or at least were)

Farmers markets are wonderful! Ideally, this should be the way we shop for all of our food…local producers. But, of course, we know how big food and big agriculture has made local production to be very laborious and most of all, very expensive. I am a bit saddened by the enormous amount of “junk food“ that is made with fake food, (I.e., seed oils”). Nowadays, they seem as prolific in farmers markets as they are in supermarkets. The thing is, we know how damaging they are to our health, and it’s a shame that they get lumped in with all the other healthy offerings at farmers markets and similar outlets. (but that’s just me musing and ranting a bit!😂) Thanks for posting such a nice video !
