In the other video u welding rebar to holow u used 2.00 mm rod, why is deference? Tx u kang

2.0 mm rod is easy for thin iron. Sometimes there is no other rod to weld reinforcement.

Real question here, wouldn't it be beneficial for beginners to get some cheap tig welder to make things like this even easier and look better? My dad is an old school welder so he taught me stick first and i used 7018 a lot but as i went on i look on jobs like this as something made for tig. One thing that definitely gives stick advantage is how universal it is.

Definitely a bad demo video cuz 1: the safety guard is not installed, and 2: key not used to tighten the disc!! Shame on the video creator trying to teach dangerous methods.
