I drove through water running across Laurie two days ago and there wasn't one utility person or vehicle around that I could see. When the main finally gave way around 8 pm last night, there were no official announcements to alert those affected. Nothing. It was all neighbors calling each other to figure out what was going on. When officials finally did say something, it was "we expect to have water pressure restored later tonight". Then, "by tomorrow morning. Then, "by noon". Then, "early afternoon". Then "by this evening". Seriously, does anybody here know what's really going on? Half of this city has no water due to a single broken pipe segment, schools and businesses are shut down, yet every time I see a news report there are 8 or 10 workers standing around a hole, watching one guy splashing water around with a shovel. There seems to be zero sense of urgency to get this fixed and clearly no leadership to get people coordinated and working as a team. It is painful to watch. PCB and Bay County community management should be ashamed. Better yet, they should be out there making sure that pipe gets fixed fast, because people here are going to be smelling pretty ripe by tomorrow.

Bay County is Corrupt! Law Enforcement is a JOKE! They refuse Citizens Civil rights, fail to report serious crimes, fail yo arrest due to over crowding.? Plus so much more ....PLEASE stop wasting time engery effort and ENFORCE LAWS! You especially Robert Carroll! Shameful!

the City Manager needs to fire the head of the Utilities department. The leak was started on Friday and nothing has been done until it busted into a big one causing over 24hr so far water loss to businesses, parents staying home because school closures, and lot of issues to all that had impact
