The fact that he is right handed, but always keeps that ball in the left to eliminate unnecessary steps leads me to believe that Gilbert taught this young man about the holes in his game (Gilbert ) first…..this young man will be truly NBA ready by graduation

You know a guy is headed to to the top-3 when you see defenders giving up on guarding him halfway through. Pay attention to the defense's body language during the 2nd half of this clip. They started moving out of the way like they just wanted to get the game over with.

As a hooper , I Appreacite that he is right handed but keeps the ball in his left hand without having to crossover to gain control with his right at any moment. Straight left hand ball control young is good to see

YOUR ABSOLUTELY CORRECT ! I M THE SAME WAY !! IM A RIGHTY BUT I JUST LOVE AND FEEL SO COMFORTABLE WITH THE BALL IN MY LEFT HAND !!

That first clip showed me everything I needed to see. Alijah's got the ball on a string (AA did a pull back with left into a right to left cross); he has high basketball IQ (defender tries to deny him left so AA pulls back and sets the defender up with right to left cross); he's athletic (AA's quick and can jump); and most important, he's a dawg (AA tried to put the 2nd help defender in a body bag even though he missed the dunk)!

I said similar things after watching one clip of him in a game. He scored like 40, but it was the fact he had every move. He first-stepped into a behind the rim finger roll that looked so clean it reminded me of T-Mac. Every time I see him I think about T-Mac, really.
