This is fascinating. I holidayed at Perran Sands 3 or 4 times in the 80s when it was a Ladbrokes holiday camp, so it's interesting to see how much it's changed in some ways, grown a bit, but how in others, the layout is generally the same.

Interesting video. 20 years ago nearly half the site was used by touring caravans & tents. Now I see over 75% is occupied by static caravans. I guess touring caravans not so popular these days?

I know this circuit very well, it’s fairly close to where we live (Peterborough) and I have to say what a shortsighted load of business people we must have! Okay the huge grandstands could come down but the circuit is great, we have seen all sorts of racing here including 10 mile bike time trial racing. Surely the track could be used for all sorts of racing, terrible waste of a resource
