I can tell the difference between Latte and Cappuccino because the Maccona sachets have the names written on them -- just add hot water and stir! That's how you do it, isn't it? 😛

I think cappuccino should have frothy milk and latte more silky steamed milk.
@blackimp4987Ай бұрын
you are very skilled and your cappuccino is beautiful and look tasty but let me give you a couple of details: first of all it's not called "latte" that means just "milk" but "latte macchiato" - not to be confused with "caffé macchiato" which is the opposite: an espresso with a spot of milk, not froth - that's "spotted milk" as coffee is added after milk looking like a spot in it. So no decoration can be made. The essence is the same as what you did but if you serve it with decoration customers might wonder why you made a cappuccino rather than a latte macchiato. As you pointed out latte macchiato requires more milk and actually is usually served in a long glass not in a cup. Thank you for sharing some useful technique

Amazing. For inventing the language, the Brit’s dont as much speak English as they, chew it up and spit it out.

i'm very late and i don't want to vent too much, just wanted to say that i just got a 2nd barista job after 2 years of a break and even though i said i had experience on my cv, when i got to actually make a coffee today i felt so lost i almost started crying. i can't even begin to describe how bad my textured milk came out lol. on top of that the coffee machine doesn't have an automatic timer or at least a built in stopwatch like the one at my last workplace hence my espresso came out terrible as well. my manager even joked that i lied on my resume which made me feel even worse tbh. anyway, i'm watching tutorials to remember how to make coffee and this one helped me a lot, i feel much more confident and istg you were sent to me from heaven. i'll try again tomorrow ❤️

Keep practicing. It will come back! Don't let your managers comments put you off.

So the difference is that for the cappucino you froth more on the top and you pour sideways? Any decoration for the cappucino?

What type of milk do you use? Do you use a special barista milk?

This was full fat cows milk. Non-dairy milks must be barista edition.
