Whoa, them taking the BIBLE out of context to provide cover for their practices is the cherry on the sundae. Outrageous. They just use each other and all that talk of community goes out the window when someone wants to leave or just throttle things for a while. The mask comes off. Glad you left.

Hi. I just stumbled upon your channel. Twenty years ago, I used some Beachbody programs to good effect. That experience left me with a favorable view of the company and the guys at the top. I'm disappointed to learn that those guys decided to get even richer by becoming blood sucking, soul destroying MLM scammers. Utterly despicable creatures.

My sis in law is hard core in it… my mother in law offered to pay for me so her daughter (said sister in law) could get ahead. I just looked at my page for the first time in years and my sis in laws grandma, who is 89 years old, is my coach. What is going on? Does people just sign up their family to get ahead and “win” trips??

They'll also blame your "mindset". So even if you prove to them that you worked hours and hours, they can tell you you hadn't worked on your mindset, which is something that's so vague and impossible to prove or disprove.

Yes! And girl I read and listened to so many personal development books… which really helped my mindset in so many areas of my life- but with a system that sets you up to fail, it doesn’t matter how positive you are. There’s positive thinking and then there’s just being delusional. I was definitely delusional for a long time in this system.

Hi, thanks for your content. Your story is heartbreaking. I'm glad you're out. I'm a big fan of anti-MLM content which is ironic because I have been an Avon rep. for 32 years. I joined when my kids were small and did it to make some extra income.. Anyway, shortly after I joined Avon, (I was not recruited- I sought them out) they were starting with the whole "downline" B.S. I didn't participate because I live in a small town and figured anyone I recruited would also take away my customers. It also sounded exhausting. So long story short, I resisted having to be a "Boss Babe", knew I was not going to get rich, and now I just consider my casual selling a hobby that brings in some walking around money. I feel for you young girls being sold a dream.

Have you watched Chalean Johnsons video on KZbin on why she is no longer a trainer? They put massive pressure on her to look a certain way and in subtle ways bodyshamed her. "The next time you do that move, you might want to tuck your shirt in because some of your gut was hanging over your tights." To meet their expectations for her last workout program, afterwards she had to go see a doctor due to pain. He told her that if she didn't change soon, she would be dead in less than a year.

You said it! "Paying me in peanuts" - my boyfriend had to talk some sense into me with a similar expression of, "but for what? They're paying you literal pennies." And this was in a similar conversation that you had with your counselor. He was like, "you can get paid pennies and we barely spend time with each other, or you cannot do that, let me make the money and we still have time to spend together and with the kids." At first I was thinking what a manipulative thing to say, but then I realized... wait... he's right. I was becoming MISERABLE doing ALL THE THINGS, but for what?? To be paid pennies, lose great connections and friends because of how gross I was coming across in messages, all for literal pennies.

I don't believe it's selfish to want time or financial freedom. We see how that freedom can be beneficial to us in so many ways, but what I've learned is that where you're "free" or stable in one area, you're stressing in another. There's always going to be something. Be grateful for where you're at today because tomorrow is not promised.

I joined an insurance Multi-Level Management! MLM! I loved the training, coaching, group meetings and expectations of making money selling insurance! I believed 100% I'd get people to sign on with my model: If someone wasn't interested, don't try to persuade or discourage them! 🤗 Unfortunately, that was not the "company" model!

"If I could do all of those things, I'm enough!" Rule 1: MLM's use your personal doubts/insecurities against you to keep you in! They know you don't want to think like, look like or feel like you're a failure, so you keep going! Unfortunately, most jobs/businesses use this model! Once you see it, you take control of your life again! 💞

I had a BB coach try to get me on board several years ago. I had lots of questions, but she didn't have a lot of answers. She kept telling me it was so easy and she would walk me through it all once I signed up. I did some research and found out she was lying by omission. A lot of the necessary information was left out despite asking detailed questions. She actually isn't even with BB anymore.

I started BB at inseption. Literally was like 40 ppl from the absolute top. She never taught me how to build my team. She gave me wrong info how to build my down line. Then, like you said she went off on me cuz I could make 4K a week and I am not working hard enough. Never made any money. Spent so much time spending money on ads and and so much. When they first started, they cares about their customers but then they only cared about team building with coaches and didn’t care about customers.

You are so right about them saying that it doesn’t matter what family emergency is going on… I had a coach who had to fly to visit her dad one last time because the doctors said he’ll probably only have another 24-48 hours. So she rushed to him and instead of staying with him for those 48 hours she went and did a 45min workout because “it was on her schedule” & she wasn’t “quitting” her program with 1 workout left to do. Her dad did die 24 hours after she arrived. And she took time away from hanging out with him to work out and post on IG because “you never quit no matter what’s happening in your life”. That’s when I knew I had to get away from her. She also claimed she had a complete mental breakdown & was suicidal but after just 4 weeks of working out, eating right & seeing a counsellor a few times she was completely back to normal. And she still talks about that and uses mental health to “connect” with people. But you know, medication wasn’t for her - all she needed was the shake, workouts & healthy eating 🙄 It really pissed me off big time because I actually was suicidal as a teenager and have been diagnosed with depression and needed meds to stay alive so her downplaying all of that was like a slap in the face.

So so so true!! You CANNOT do this is the cracks of your day! If I had a dollar for every time someone in my Upline reminded me that “we all have the same 24 hours in the day”… uhm.. NO, we do NOT! I had a full time career that I never wanted to leave. I just wanted to workout and lose some weight after gaining it due to a knee injury that compromised my years long distance running regime. I fell for it, I take responsibility for getting sucked in, but my involvement with this MLM DESTROYED my self esteem and gave me ridiculous anxiety. So many regrets and still a little confused!

I’m so late the game here.. just discovering the anti BB (MLM) community and the bottom line for me is that I wanted to DO THE PROGRAMS with the support of the community. I never EVER wanted to coach!! I got sucked in and feel absolutely foolish that I fell for this crap and became “that girl”. I’ve since backed out of “coaching” but made friends and got physical results so I still do the workouts but OMG the stories I have, the mistakes I made.. BB put me IN DEBT when I was trying to get out of debt!! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thank you for this touching this. There are so many workout companies you can purchase that aren’t a MLM or find some on KZbin. I started taking dance recently as a way to exercise but have fun. I also have done Leslie Sansone’s walk the walk workouts. There are four basic steps which seem easy but it’s actually a workout imo. And I agree everyone’s body is different and what works for one person may not work for another.

wow-so glad you woke up and smelled the coffee-it seems these companies prey on young women believing in the "I should/can do it all mentality"-all lies! There's no quick and easy way to make money and it seems those that drink the kool-aide long term are focused on making money vs. taking the time to find their true passion in life, using their natural gifts to truly better our society and yah that may be focusing on raising good human beings. good job gf!

Always remember ladies.....IF it was THAT simple.....EVERYONE would be doing it. Regarding staying at home, I INSISTED my wife stay at home to manage the house, raise our child, etc, hence I have been the full-time breadwinner for the 30+ years of our marriage. WE have NOT REGRETTED that decision - most importantly to have a parent RAISE our son rather than a pre-school or day care. Glad to hear you sobered up....or ESCAPED...or both. America went to shit when BOTH parents started working. Learn to live on ONE income people....you won't be rich, but your children will be ALL the more better. Odds are you'll still be quite comfortable without 2 incomes.... Side note: We paid off our son's college education and our house is paid off LONG ago. I would say we are comfortable... From what I"ve seen - ALL women should RUN from MLM's. Most of the members of the group do NOT care about your personal well-being. As I've said - SOBER UP ladies. Most of them are financial cults.....and RARELY does anyone make money... If Charles Manson hadn't been in prison....believe me...he would have eventually formed an MLM...actually he sort of did, prior to the events of August 1969.
