@@AG-iy1em honestly if we had had more time we would exploded all 4 properties but sadly we didn’t have enough days. Your Butler is a wealth of knowledge and so easy to reach via WhatsApp or the desk in your building. Their daily messages are super helpful and there was always something going on somewhere at the resorts. I didn’t see a club but there are lots of bars and live entertainment 😊. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful. Congrats on the baby. 🥳

You are correct Wyndham does not actually own them but you can book them through the Wyndham portal , use your points to the book rooms and use your Wyndham status. 😊

@@samanthamartin9282 when your butler texts you through the day they tell you about all the things going on. I just went and looked at those messages and here are some of the evening things that they had White Party, Live DJ , Silent Disco, Karaoke, Chic after party. During the day at the infinity pool they had cooking classes, cocktail classes, and music. We did not go to any of these but they definitely offer lots of things to do. Hope that helps!

Hi Guys! I'm Dominican and I go to the island once a year. Note: I always use Jetblue to go there. Usually a couple of days before my flights I get an email stating that I have to fill out the e-ticket with the link attached. I've never paid for an e-ticket and I often do this for my relatives when I help them with their flights. Be careful guys! God bless you!

Awsome video! For my next trips I will most likely do private tours if I can continue traveling with points and miles. I took a trip to Isla Mujeres from Cancun and I felt like we were rushing, 20 minutes for snorkeling, 1 hour to eat, 2 and a half hours in the island. I know for most people is hard to do activities when staying at an all inclusive

@@samuelmateo9386 it was absolutely worth the extra money to do a private tour!! Plus like you we used points for our hotel so this day trip was actually more expensive than our entire hotel cost plus the extra we did for 4 nights 😂. We are so glad we went even if it meant we lost half a day on the resort.

@Midlifebums Activities is a topic people ask me all the time and I always say the same thing, try to get to know yourself before going on vacations because unless you are rich, if you pay for a stay at one of those 5 stars resorts you'll most likely feel is a waste of time getting out of there even for an hour

Overall I found TRS to be very enjoyable and good value for $ if you book far enough in advance to get a good deal. Grounds are gorgeous, Pools are great, beach ok (typical Mayan Riv. beach. If you want to be in Mayan Riv and have a gorgeous beach go to Maroma) food and drinks quite good for the price i paid. I enjoyed having the 3 other resorts to wander around and the selection of pools but definitely a big difference in quality of food and drinks between the TRS side and the 3 palladium resorts and other than strolling around and exploring there's really no need to venture out of TRS. I booked my trip for first week of April 2024 in Nov. 2023 for around $2400CAD/person for a poolside King room which puts you down by the infinity pool/ocean (From Toronto, 7 days, flight, taxes and airport transfers included) Had I booked in September when I started looking is was about $200/person cheaper and had I waited until Feb/March to book it was up to $3200/person. At $2200-2400 it was IMO a really good value. At $3200 maybe not so much and for that kind of $ I would book a Secrets or Excellence property instead. At the time I booked Secrets Akumal was $700/person more than TRS and Valentine Imperial was about $400-500/person more so I rolled the dice on TRS and was pleasantly surprised.

@@spinedoc893 we enjoyed our stay there as well. Our trip was too short to really explore the whole area and if we go back it would need to be for a longer stay. We did do a day trip and I am working on that video now!!

Maybe its different in lower season but I was here in April and Helios (and Caprichio in lobby building) was a combo of buffet and ala carte for breakfast and lunch. You could order off the menu or use the buffet or both. I found that a really good feature. I agree that the Brazilian restaurant was so so at best but every ala carte I went to on the TRS side was excellent including the steak house but it has been my experience that steaks at all inclusive are always a coin toss. Sometimes quite good and sometimes not at all good. The food at the Japanese restaurant was pretty good but aside from that every meal I had on the TRS side was much much better than any of the family resorts and the alcohol selection on TRS side was night and day better on TRS side. If I was to return here (and I would for sure) I wouldn't have any meals at the family resorts. Just FYI the jerk ribs at the TRS beach bar were really good!!

We hear great things about the Italian and Japanese restaurants but couldn’t get a dinner reservation for either our entire stay!! You could be right about the rest of the places. @@Midlifebums The Italian and French were very good, Japanese was also good. (Although do NOT order the crispy mussels at the French restaurant). I would recommend anyone coming here talk to your butler the day you arrive to plan out your reservations because depending on time of year/occupancy level some restaurants book up quickly and some are only open certain nights. Also a lot of the activities such as Tequila tasting, cocktail class etc are only done one day/week.

@@spinedoc893 great info!! The day we checked in we had 2 choices for dinner because nothing else had an open reservation! We also couldn’t get a reservation at most places our whole stay ( they were full). We liked the buffet so it worked out ok for us in the end. 😊 But you should plan all your dinner reservations the day you arrive with your Butler for sure!!!

We try and keep the explanation simple since most people don’t know the finer details of using points and status. Plus alot people don’t have status but honestly it was 108,000 points for us not the 120,000.

My wife and I are new to Wyndham and everywhere we look you have to pay additional fees for extra guest. This is surprising to me! So you payed no extra money, no hidden fees, nothing? Please confirm!

We paid with our Wyndham points so I can’t say if the same would be true if you pay with cash but There was no extra charges for the 2 additional adults and we could of brought 2 kids along as well at no extra fee because when the reservation got booked it defaulted to 4 adults and 2 kids. Even though it was always just going to be 4 adults. We paid no resort fees or taxes or anything else at check in. We booked online with our points and that is all we paid.

December to mid- April is peak season. We really like to visit places during shoulder season. Which is about a month before or after the peak season. This way it isn’t as busy. 😃. Plus things are usually a little cheaper.

Hi!! Thanks so much for watching. No we don’t believe they are when we were there the high was mid 80’s. And the water was not cold but it had a refreshing chill. It definitely was not heated pool warm. Hope that helps!!

It was really windy when we were there and we have a DJI MINI 3 so the conditions weren’t great for flying it since it is so light. Hi!! Only the one at the pizza bar stays open till midnight. They had a singer 3 of the 6 nights we were there. Peak season is December - April. We were there the first week of November It was really windy when we were there so we only flew the drone twice but we had no issues at customs or when we did fly it on the island.

HI! The rooms don’t have numbers but names The lower room with the tear shaped hot tub is called Executive Chic Suite and the upper room (has rectangle hot tub) is called the Chic Suite. Hope that helps if you need anymore info please feel free to reach out!!! We are happy to help if we can

We found the same mixed reviews but we really enjoyed the food. Keep in mind we did not eat at the buffet so I can’t comment on that. My hubby loved the pizza and spaghetti on the room service menu. He ordered it everyday for lunch. 😊 Honestly we had no issues with any of the food or restaurants!! We hope you really enjoy your trip as much as we did!!!

That’s a totally fair!! I have seen they same room we stayed in be almost $5k a night depending on how busy they are! I would totally agree that amount is not worth it! We did really enjoy our stay and the food and staff were great!

Hi!! No the Tierra suite is great but is a different suite. They only have one Luna Suite so that is why it can be hard to rent. The Tierra suites are all of the ground floor ,plunge pool suites in building 7 and 8. You definitely want to request building 8!!! The Viento suites are the 2nd floor and roof top suites of those same buildings. They don’t have a plunge pool but you do get the rooftop and a really big bathtub on your balcony.
