Quick question. I was really interested in what you mentioned 25 percent tax because truck but because passenger vehicle... Is it 2.5 percent tax?

Hey thanks for the sub! We try to check out channels that sub now and then, and this video REALLY peeked our interest! We've kinda dreamed of a rig like this for a while now as we are fans of jdm trucks (we have a Suzuki Carry). The 4x4 version would be a huge plus for us. The biggest issue I think is gonna be finding something that has drivetrain components that we have domestically in the US. The Highace might have a gas engine that was available here but haven't looked too far into it. Do you know if the Isuzu has parts available? We would also be interested in a Highlux, but again most have a diesel we didn't have in the states. Any plans for an update video? That thing looks amazing, you made a good purchase for sure!

Yes I am thinking of doing an update of all of the improvements we have done on our Isuzu Elf. I found a repair shop that will work on the camper. Finding parts is possible but can be a bit of a search at times.I recommend getting a bigger engine like I have for a camper. Overall I am extremely happy with my camper and so far after many trips the engine runs great. With the size only 16 feet long we can park it anywhere, no problem camping where bigger RVs are excluded due to size. I like to use it as my daily driver also since the visibility is fantastic and the diesel mileage is pretty good. Cheers😄

Hey, nice one! I've watch the PCA version of this but hadn't seen this version yet. How's the elf treating you? What's you top speed with the bigger engine?
@johnyluxton31832 жыл бұрын
Hello Bobby ! I’m not sure what the top speed of the engine is. Going on a flat highway with no hills I’ve got it up to 75 but never went over that. The engine gets a bit loud at that speed. Going up steep hills I normally do 45mph. I love the Elf! Tons of fun! No problems with it so far, knock on wood.. The camper was shipped to Tacoma Washington where I picked it up and drove it to Astoria Oregon where I live. We had the window over the cab that had a crack in it replaced. My wife recovered the cushion in back, I put a TV up over the door of the camper. We had lithium batteries installed and a basic engine service, new plugs, oil change and checkup. Of course the propane had to be switched over for American standards. Looking to replace the tires but the tire center by me does not have those size tires. Can you recommend where I could order tires? Also a source for oil and air filters, I’m having trouble locating those. My local mechanic had to order the plugs from Australia but can’t find the other items. We’ve travel up and down the west coast camping and visiting family and friends. Driving it over the Golden Gate Bridge and around San Francisco was a trip. People as you know it get a kick out of seeing the Isuzu Elf. How’s your Elf doing these days? It looks like you have done some major work on it. Thanks for the videos! I’ve enjoyed watching them and looking forward to more in the future. Cheers Paul
