This is a simplistic explanation of recording phonecalls. As other comments have mentioned here, you should also cover the mix minus or clean feed aspect of recording phonecalls

I am an IT guy so I know how to use technology but Podcastle is sooooo confusing. It's a terrible UI. I can't get to the same page to do what I just did a few minutes ago. It has awesome features but so difficult to navigate.

Podcastle is awful! I fell for the good reviews and paid for a year and it is one issue after another! Customer support is little help other than to apologize for the inconvenience

Hi, has Podcastle been in touch with any support? I thought it’s an easy to follow system but your frustrations with them is stopping me in my tracks… any alternatives for you!?

I had a different experience with Podcastle. I'm not entirely convinced it's as user-friendly as advertised. I signed up for the Pro version with the expectation of using its features right away, particularly the AI Voice feature, which I was looking forward to. However, I encountered several issues. Firstly, there is no customer support phone number to call for immediate assistance. I resorted to using the chat feature, but the response time was far from prompt. It took around an hour to receive a reply. Waiting that long in front of a computer was quite inconvenient. When I finally received a response, I was disappointed to find that they offered no solution to my problem. Instead, they directed me to fill out a form to request a refund. This left me with a very unfavorable impression. Another frustration I encountered was while attempting to apply the "magic dust" by selecting multiple clips. The process was painstakingly slow and eventually failed, prompting me to contact support. However, reaching out to support turned out to be a challenging task as it wasn't made readily accessible. Overall, my experience has been less than satisfactory.

This is the best sound demo I've listened to of these three mics. I can very easily hear the tone of each mic due to how you spoke into them so closely etc. Very intense tone differences.

#askresonate: I am a complete newby at this idea of creating and maintaining a social platform. I am a new writer but also a professional counselor with a history that has made me unique in idea and approach to helping people. I would like to create a podcast that provides me social access and promotes my philosophy and approach to life and relationships. What do I need? What do I do? I liked the Resonate presentation. Thanks, Michael

If it's that hard for you to make a decision take the re20 because it won't get a novice in trouble like the re27nd could if you don't know what you are doing. My 2 cents for no cents!

Good mic shootout. What many tend to forget is that when it comes to VO work, transparency is key, unlike ASMR. You are not chasing after the nuances of the voice compared to the message being conveyed. If you are listening to a two-hour podcast, then you want to use a warmer mic, otherwise the harshness of the treble-heavy mics will wear away at your brain and fatigue your patience. It was a great choice to use a sibilant female voice during this shootout, so you can see which mic handles this the best. The Ksm104 and the M147 excelled and seemed the most balanced of the bunch and handled both male and female sibilance rather well.

I just used my h6 for first time. Two person podcast in person. I set it to two separate tracks and I got bad bleed through thus echo. I’m guessing we were just to close together, or I should have recorded with the stereo setting combining mics 1 and 2? Any ideas would be appreciated!
@TwoTrakMind2 жыл бұрын
Great video! Correct me if I'm wrong, but one drawback to Zoom's "Use original audio" feature is that it's not a universal setting and has to be enabled on each individual's computer. I think this is super inconvenient and even unprofessional to ask your guest to jump through hoops for you when they're already doing you a favor by being on your show.
