Ya i skip trains and beat game with no gas mask. Only got gas mask after to get khopesh and I skipped old champion tobget that as well

@damocles0369 not yet. I'm testing a few things before I throw them all together. I cross over the river behind the Frore depot into Polaris. And from there, you can go all the way south through Westport into Solaris desert and open gate to sunburn desert

@damocles0369 this is the way. You can basically skip sunburn desert and serpent crossing. No need for gas mask. And can skip central if you can do it without sledgehammer

It’s the fastest way to beat the game. Maybe you don’t like it, but it is the fastest and that is all that matters.

Rewatching this again! Now, the game has announced the 3rd DLC! Before the DLC comes out, we got DOOMSDAY! Aaaaand, now you can do New Game+ (after slaughtering all zombies on the main island 3 times) And Crown station got updated too! Ohhh and don't forget the "Surreal door". No deaths required to get here. And most importantly, EAT every food! And craft everything. : ) I wish you the best luck on new SPEEDRUN! :D

Yep. I haven’t done much with the game recently, but the new route I was planning involved basically melting the bosses with machine guns

Can you do a speedrun for the "Surreal key"? It's probably the most difficult thing to achieve in this game.

Yeah I suppose that would be a pretty fun run to do. Very difficult. I might wait until there is an actual use for it though.

This actually works on versions higher than 1.0.2, and it seems to possibly still work by placing the sawmills on the side sideways instead of diagonal.

So just simply don't let go of B and I can have a speed boost the whole game? Or it only works in 1 session and will reset if I close the game. Kind of dangerous when near a cliff.

Your speed will get reset to normal running speed if you die, load a different scene, exit to the main menu, or a few other actions (I haven’t fully tested everything). It can also be preserved through menus, and I believe that ‘B’ can be let go of during the menu, as long as it is held again before exiting. It can also sometimes be preserved through cutscenes, though this is a little inconsistent. Just be aware that once you activate the speed boost from the cutscene, there is no way to regain it, so make it count

@@damocles0369 It's useful in traveling faster. Do you know how to 1 shot all the mech boss? There is a glitch that could let you use practically unlimited mines.
