Cool rip - amazing CJ $200-300 I reckon especially if he has another 🔥 season. Antonio Gates Jr and the QBs could be big in the future too. Not long until the season starts looking forward to seeing if we can protect Danny Dimes this and get the ball to Nabers - also excited to see Burns on the other side of ball - could be a highly productive D for the Giants this year! Am I too late for the givey? I do like those Anime nation cards 😁

Paid right around $300 for a box of this and instantly had buyer’s remorse. I posted it on EBay just to try to recoup my money because all the videos of this product were concerning to say the least. My will power sucks so I opened it and hit the 1/1 Zion autograph redemption. That being said, I don’t think I will try my luck again. Gonna be hard to recover your money with this product.

Yes! He is a good long term hold, and definitely his rookies. I personally don't think it matters much what you buy, as everything will go up over time, but I think anything that is scarce will be an even better buy!

You are very welcome! Yes, I think Leaf is outperforming and outgrowing panini. I'm not a huge fan of the super heavy NIL, but they are still rocking it. Another cool video. Would you say as a general rule basketball cards command higher prices across the board compared to football or it just that there are more "star" players and position doesn't matter where as football it is usually just the quarterbacks who command the highest prices? Or am I wrong as this is just my perception rather than being based on any type of serious research involving a spreadsheet!

Yeah, I think it's the latter. Football is more popular, but QB's only command the craziest prices, whereas with basketball, all the stars, no matter the position, command crazy prices. I also haven't done any in depth research, but it's just what I've heard and been exposed to while being in the hobby. Also, it's what the sports card indexes show as well (football has higher value indexes than basketball).

Really interesting video - is there not huge risk though with T-Law that a very bad season or injury could absolutely tank those cards. I remember a conversation with a guy at London card show about Mac Jones cards going for over £1,000 after his rookie year but now are worth about £70. Also do you think that the bottom will drop out of the CJ Stroud and Wemby market especially for the high prices people seem to be paying for their rookie base and low end inserts at the moment or do you think it is worth grading their lower end rookie cards and holding?

Actually, the bigger risk is the economy and sports card market overall. Prices continue to drop, and if I don't see them come back up for in-season demand, at least 15-20%, then I could lose money. Injury is a risk, but unlikely, but still possible for sure. I definitely don't see Tlaw as comparable to Mac Jones, who never proved himself. Tlaw has had two straight awesome seasons with 4k + passing yards and a very good TD to INT ratio. I do think Wemby and CJ will keep going down for a bit, Wemby will go down much more, CJ may start coming back up with the in-season demand. I think CJ prices probably hit this years floor, but can continue coming down after next offseason. I would definitely grade CJ and sell in September / October time-frame. Wemby you need to sell ASAP as that will keep coming down over the BB offseason and as new sets get released. Thanks for stopping by and supporting the channel!

Yeah, never a sure thing, the biggest risk is the economy and the sports card market in general, if that continues to go down, even seeing a bump from in-season demand uptick won't be enough to avoid losing money.
