It was believed that the plane flew for 6-8 hours after disappearance. They also used geostationary satellites to possibly track it down, and it is speculated that the pilot initially crashed the plane as an act of suicide at the coords 40.48S, 86.2E just after sunrise.

I flew biz class to and from Amman a month ago and I will never fly economy again. The food, lay flat seats, and overall experience was great. But it would be nice if the biz lounge in Heathrow was updated. The biz lounge in LAX was cushy and relaxing.
